|My love of family history work came when I took an 'easy' class. During this class I acquired a few stories about my ancestors and I was hooked on genealogy. In researching the stories and the areas which my ancestors have lived, I have learned more about who I am. My grandmother used to go with me to the cemeteries to find our ancestors and encourage me in my research. Over the years my two sisters have joined in the fun. Some of the names I am researching are on my paternal side - Waples, Shelton, Govan; and on my maternal side - Shockey, Duncan, Marts, Hallock, Jones, Sanders, Allen.|

You attached a photo to Samuel Taylor Shockey memorial # 32876646 that you created. He shares that stone with his wife and I was wondering if you could please attach that photo to her memorial also. She is memorial # 61341467.
Thank you so much,
PS I am a Shockey descendant

I have not worked on Shelton line for some time. Add information only occasionally. Although I'd like more info on the 18th century and early 19th century relatives (esp. the women), other lines are now being researched. Let me know when your site is up and running. Kathryn

Thank you for posting this photo. With your permission I would like to use it on my ancestry.com tree. I'd credit you of course. Thanks, again.
