RE: Edith C Sharp
Denton Journal December 31, 1910:
" Early Wednesday morning Mr. Ralph B. Sharp, of Ridgely, and Miss Edith Clark, of Greensboro, were married at the residence of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert D. Clark, by Rev. J. P. Otis. M iss Lula Clark, the bride's sister, played the Logengrin wedding march. Afgter the ceremony the bride and groom were driven to Downes, where they were joined by Mr. and Mrs. E.J. Walls, who were marri ed the same morning near Denton, and left for Baltimore and other points."

Hope this helps,
Dottie K.

Praise Chapel
The cemetery listed as Praise Chapel cemetery in Jay County is actually the New Pittsburg cemetery in Randolph County. It is located with the Praise Chapel Church. If you compare the memorials in Praise Chapel with the New Pittsburg cemetery you will find they match. I have friends and relatives in the New Pittsburg cemetery. I am not just basing this on the Find a grave site.

RE: Edna Cooley
No relation. I went there about 3 weeks ago to fill some request. Since it is a small cemetery I photographed the whole thing. I had a little time on my hands and organized the remaining pics a couple of days ago. Then I checked to see if there were any profiles without pics. I knew right away I had photographed an Edna so I looked it up.

If you are looking to establish family connections this website might be of help. It is totally free with all of their resources available. Or you can pay them to do the work if you wish. Maybe it will help.

I might have a pic but the last name is Baker. Would you know if Baker might be her married name?

Thank you so much for your work at Old Hope Cemetery. We visited this summer. My husbands great and great great grandparents are buried there. Your pictures helped us with our search for their graves as well as ,any extended family members. Thanks!
