I am pleased to announce that Mt Pleasant has been completely photographed. That is those stones that are visible. The photos are not posted on FAG but I check the request list against my database.|
All those photo requests are most likely unmarked or illegible grave sites.
Any memorial page I have created I have a picture of the headstone.
If you want a photo officially request one, don't bury your request in a spouse or another family members photo request.
Too many volunteers are now asking for other volunteers to do their research, please try and do your own on your time.
I take responsibility ONLY for the information obtained from the headstone unless otherwise specified by me. There are very few exceptions.
Due to the changes and procedures for adding addition information it is very time consuming to include the source. Find A Grave DOES NOT provide a way to show where the information comes from.
In light of these changes and the automated edit system, which makes it almost impossible to deny acceptance of changes and addition, I have been transferring all memorial pages to those wishing to make edits. This too has become too time consuming.
Therefore, in order to include the changes whether the information is CORRECT OR NOT I feel I am being forced to accept all edits. I hate this part because I have had quite a few people send edits only to resend two or three times in order to make corrections.
If you find errors send corrections but do not, I repeat DO NOT ask me about the information posted or hold me responsible for the additions. This goes against all genealogical best practices, but the only other solution would be to take down all the memorials and pictures I have posted.
If you find an error, double listing or double picture please let me know so I can correct the problem.
I have in the past used a picture of the cemetery gate/sign with "Office couldn't locate a burial for this person" imprinted on it. If you get this posting and do find a picture of you persons tombstone, let me know and I will remove it.
SHOULD YOU WISH TO MANAGE A MEMORIAL PAGE, PLEASE JUST ASK FOR A TRANSFER.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for all the photographs of the urns in the "secure" area! I am certain the cemetery staff appreciate your efforts too. We will be using these photos in our ongoing efforts to document Pacific Northwest Civil War veterans. Kudos on your professionalism.

Her husband, James E. Coffman #165997417, is buried in Upper Lake, Lake Co., CA. I would be happy to take over the management of Laura K. Coffman, as the Coffmans are a part of my D-I-L's family.

You have Jul 13 for birth and 1938 for death. I was wondering if the death was Jul 13, 1938 or was she born on Jul 13 and you forgot to add the year. Sorry I confused you. Kathy

Karen, thanks for the photo of my husband's grandfather, Andrew Vander Yacht. May we have permission to use it in our family tree? Thanks. Peggy

Thank you again! That narrows the search a great deal, and I appreciate your prompt response.

Heartfelt thanks for these two photos, Karen. I am wondering whether the urn also shows the name of Matilda or "Mattie" Stearns? It seems to, but the name is incomplete in the photo. If you can tell me definitively, that will clarify for me whether this is my relative John William Stearns, who was born in 1855. I cannot find any record of his death.
There are many, many John W Stearnses in history, so I'm trying to determine with reasonable finality.
Many thanks again,
