Bio and Links
Bio Photo Thank YOU to everyone leaving tokens/notes to the memorials I have added. If you so desire and have time, I would appreciate very much if you could leave tokens/notes for my precious Mom and Daddy.

Special Request: PLEASE, PLEASE before adding a memorial, check to see if it already exists. I have found tons of duplicates in Rice Field Cemetery, Franklin County, Tennessee. If you add a NEW memorial, could you please leave a token of some kind? Everyone deserves to be recognized.....It's horrible to click on a memorial and not find at least one token. Thank YOU!!

If I've made errors or you wish to have an entry removed or transferred, please let me know and I will gladly accommodate.

The following is something with a lot of meaning and I thought you all might like to read it, also.

Dear Ancestor
Your tombstone stands among the rest neglected and alone. The name and date are chiselled out on polished, marbled stone.

It reaches out to all who care; It is too late to mourn. You did not know that I exist; you died and I was born. Yet each of us are cells of you in flesh, in blood, in bone.

Our blood contracts and beats a pulse; entirely not our own. Dear Ancestor, the place you filled one hundred years ago spreads out among the ones you left who would have loved you so. I wonder if you lived and loved, I wonder if you knew that someday I would find this spot, and come to visit you.

Thank YOU, Joanie

RE: Updates
You're welcome! I read your kind notes about them. He is a distant cousin whom I didn't know. I calculated that we are 3rd cousins, 1 generation removed through our common ancestors Henry & Abigail Sizemore of Gwinnett Co GA.

RE: Transfer
Joanie,
I am so sorry it has taken a long time for me to respond. I haven't visited this site in a long time. I had to go thru hoops to remember my password. How do I transfer?

Thank you

RE: Calvin T. Morris Cemetery
My lineage is as follows:
Calvin and Mary Pruitt (his first wife) Morris
Hirum and Sara Jane Wilkerson Morris
Cal T. and Jenny Summers Morris
James and Eliza Willis Morris
Lois Morris Cunningham
Carlene Cunningham Tucker
We went to Estill Fork and after talking with several people, I think we now know where the cemetery is located. You have to cross a creek to get there, and due to the large amount of rain, we were unable to cross the creek.
A friend of mine was talking to someone about the cemetery, and he seems to know a way of going without crossing the creek. But this involves crossing other people's land, so I plan to talk with this person. Not sure when or if we will make it to the cemetery, because of high waters in the cold months, snaky conditions in the warm months, or crossing others' property. But my mom would love to go, so I am trying to find a way.
I am including my email address, because I rarely check this site. carlenectucker@aol.com

James H. Carter
His memorial is #7442186 at Crawford Cemetery, Jackson County AL. Also do you know if this cemetery is at Hytop or Estill Fork. Find A Grave says Hytop my info says Estill Fork. But I have run into that problem before with a Pace Cemetery being listed as Hytop...but it is at the foot of the mountain and is a Scottsboro address.

James H. Carter
You left a flower on James' memorial. I have this information: James H. Carter son of Meredith and Elizabeth (?) Carter married Martha Lawanna Matthews daughter of John Thomas and Elizabeth (Sanders) Matthews 10Dec1869.

Can you tell me if it is correct?
