My name is Maudie Ann Burke Gardner, I am the daughter of Charles and Tillie Joy Burke, I am relative to the Trundles, Sappington, and Hammonds, Ellis's McGrady's and the Burke's. I have been looking for my family roots for all most a year now, I had no idea how fast I would become addicted.

|Charlotte Sappington||RE: Sappington's|
My Great Grandfather was George K. Sappington. My line continues through his son, Ross (brother to Ernest), and grandson, Roger. I am very interested in your connection and would love to trade photos. Please email me directly at email@example.com to continue this conversation.

I have been searching for my family background for a long time. Vicki Joy was my biological mother, any information would be wonderful.
I went to the cemetery and got photos of all the Stonebrakers. I was unable to find the 2 you requested however there were a few that were unreadable so I took a photo of all of them and a larger photo of them all so you can see the layout. Anyplace I can put them for you?

Hello, I am researching my wife's ancestry. Iris L. Tade was my wife's grandmother. After the passing of Her husband Walter Tade, she married Robert Followwill and lived in Iowa. She died in 2004 and is buried in Iowa, not at Pleasant Hill, Worthington,Missouri

How many graves did you find there with that name the dates are wrong on this site if there is only one that is my uncle and he died in 1975

Thank You...Im going to check into to this...most of the Varney are In W Va that are related to my Husband...
I walked the entire Sappington Cemetery today (which is no big deal since it's only about 75' x 75'). There are only about 3 dozen legible stones in the cemetery. There are probably another 3 dozen that are too worn to be legible. I didn't see any Pipkin headstones. There were a few Parke's but none were the ones you were looking for. My best guess is that the graves are either unmarked or the headstones are lost or eroded. Many of the headstones of that era were made from limestone or some other material that didn't hold up well over time. I believe all of the headstones in this cemetery have been photographed and the rest are illegible or missing. Sorry.

Hello Maudie, Could you please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org? I am trying to help my friend locate her grandmother's grave. You have listed it and she would like to know where the cemetery is located in Majestic, KY and tell you of some corrections. She is not a volunteer on findagrave. Her grandmother is Emma Ellis Justice--109532374. She and I live in Pound, VA. My number is 47669776. Thanks so much! Margaret Sturgill
|Louise Taraba||James Vannoy|
Maudie, I noticed you had requested a photo of James Vannoy's gravestone. The Deep Ford Cemetery (Defunct)in Wilkes Co., NC was bulldozed some years back. There is nothing there except for trailer houses set on this hallowed ground. I would assume you would need to contact the manager of his memorial for any proof that he was buried there.
No one knows how many graves were destroyed. Years before it was bulldozed the stones had all been removed and were used as foundations for farm buildings. No respect for the deceased.
Have a good evening.
