Bio Photo My name is Glenn and I am 69 years old and had open heart surgery 9 years ago. I don't mind taking photos of grave markers in the area. I have been working on my ancestry for the last 7 years and I love to find old records. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Good luck and if I can help, I will.
Kathy and I are volunteers of the Ozaukee county Historical Society and we are doing this work for them. If you have any questions about ancestry please contact the historical society at 262-377-4510. They are open every Tuesday from 9AM to 3 PM.

If you are going to E-mail me put Find a Grave in the subject line. Thanks

RE: Franks
Glenn

Thank you for the message but she is the granddaughter of Peter and Anna Frank. I have an article about them and they were buried on their homestead on what is now the school property. The bequest lists their burial sites and it stipulates that they are to remain buried there. That information came from the school itself.

Thank you, Glenn and Kathy!
I'm thrilled that you've transferred the Trauffler and Thiry memorials from St. Mary at Lake Church to me. Again, many thanks for creating them in the first place. I promise to lovingly care for them. You are most appreciated.

Sincerely,
Jan

Find a Grave
Hi Glenn,

#80213972 Margretha Rocker Wolf

I think that this Margretha is my gr. gr. gr. grandmother. The grave dates line up with my research of the Marytown Catholic Church records. Her maiden name was Becker. Could you take a picture of the grave for me or take another look at the stone when you are in that area. I know that old stones are hard to read and there is a possibility that it may say Becker not Rocker.

Thanks for your help.

lutheran church record books on microfilm
the trinity Lutheran church, cedarburg, Wisconsin old record books are on microfilm at ELCA archives in elk grove village, Illinois. they have a detailed 1904 0r 1909 membership list with villages of birth of its members. davids star Lutheran church records are on microfilm in salt lake city on microfilm no. 1377866. it has several lists of members, lists are by villages they came from. the lists have full names & ages & birth dates & village born in. births, deaths marriage & conf. entries are on film. some of the freistadt church books (not all) are on microfilm at ELCA archives. the 1989 freistadt & Lutheran imigtation book done by tinity ev. l. ch. Mequon, Wisconsin 141 pages, is missing many german vilolage birth places that are in old record books. example is Joachim wilde page 45. no birth place. photo of a church book marriage entry page on page 103 of book, says he was born in writzow by cammin 1812. the actual record books need to be digitalized and transcribed. martin w. johnson belvidere, Illinois.

Find A Grave Memorial# 67314240
Find A Grave Memorial# 67314240 for Rose Steinmetz Lorge:

Her maiden name is actually Groff. Her parents were John Groff (Find A Grave Memorial# 66127742) and Anna Steinmetz Groff (Find A Grave Memorial# 66127779).

The obituary posted contains a error and left the name Groff off the end of her parents names. It should read "John and Anna Steinmetz Groff."

Two other errors in the article are that her two daughters who died in infancy are Kathryn Ann Lorge (b/d 1943)(Find A Grave Memorial# 67314265) and Marion Rose Lorge (b/d 1929)(Find A Grave Memorial# 115027434).

Thanks for all you do at FindAGrave!!

Eugene Lesch Find A Grave Memorial# 101416822

Just wanted it to reflect the actual relationship, instead of being listed as an assumed relationship.

Irene Lesch Giese
She was my father's mother. The two calculated relationships are accurate. My father was Joseph Leo Lesch and Eugene Lesch is his youngest brother. Please update the record to reflect this. Thank you!

Today, I made it over to the office to find out their location. Unfortunately, it just started raining quite hard--so, these will be temporary pics. I promise I will go back very soon to get better ones, it's not far away. Take care, good luck.

Thanks much for correcting the spelling of my uncle Jozapas Kliunas given name on his gravestone. I see the stone is getting worn/dirty, so an easy error to make.
