My favorite thing to do on here is to find information in an old newspaper, look on findagrave, and match it to someone on here. I think it would be fantastic if every memorial had a picture and a story. I always picture family members looking at this site, looking for long past relatives, and finding more than a death and birthdate, but a snippet of their lives! That is my goal.
While you are busy doing your own find a grave thing, please visit Veteran's Graves With No Flowers!!!!!!!. It would be greatly appreciated. I can't stand to see someone who died for our country with no flowers on their memorial.
alliswell, Merely saying THANK YOU for visiting Patulla's memorial and adding her to your V/C isn't enough, forever grateful. Please accept my sincerest condolences on the loss of your beloved mother, I'm so sorry. I will certainly visit your mother's memorial.
RE: William E. Thomas No I do not have any additional information about this subject other then I was about to find his death record and provided the information over to the previous creator of the Find A Grave.
RE: sorry to bother you again. :) No prob, Brenda. Thank you for the sweet, sweet compliment about my pet memorials and the boost to my ego. LOL The instructions are at Help with Find A Grave under Actions(link in the side menu on the left of this page, fifth from top). Here's the direct link. Hope this helps. If you have any questions or issues, let me know.
