I am 48 years old and have 3 children. Family history has always interested me. Find A Grave is a great way to help others learn more about their own family's past.
Your tombstone stands among the rest; neglected and alone The name and date are chiseled out on polished, marbled stone It reaches out to all who care It is too late to mourn You did not know that I'd exist You died and I was born. Yet each of us are cells of you in flesh, in blood, in bone. Our blood contracts and beats a pulse entirely not our own. Dear Ancestor, the place you filled one hundred years ago Spreads out among the ones you left who would have loved you so. I wonder if you lived and loved, I wonder if you knew That someday I would find this spot, and come to visit you. -Author Unknown
Owen Fee, infant, #69175352 Judy, I noticed that you set up a memorial for an Owen Fee (infant) who died in 1873. Do you remember if he is in a plot with other family members? I'm trying to figure out if he is related to my Fees. Mary
Everything is nice (you are nicer) The weather was nice today. I went to Holy Sepulchre to take some pictures. Thank You, for all the pictures I found out you took. They were so much better and so many more, than what I could have taken today. You are incredible.
Thanks for adding Elsie's memorial and headstone pic as well.
Elsie was Carmella's brother Paul's wife. Paul died in Florida in 1981 but I've been unable to locate where he was buried or cremated. He apparently did not make it back to Rochester to Holy Sepulchre. Just as his brother-in-law George (Carmella's husband) didn't either.
Ironic that both their spouses did not get buried with them.
Thank you so much for taking and posting Carmella's headstone picture. She married the father of my 1st cousins wife. We have been unable to find her husbands final resting place but at least we found her.
Freida Dear Judy, Thank you for taking your time to take a picture of the tombstone of Robert Freida, I did not even remember where he was buried, it's been so long and I was so young, thank you again, M-D
