Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi!

A little about me...I'm a amateur photographer/genealogist/findagraver as well as an extremely proud mommy to six children (3 girls/3boys) and 16 grandchildren! :) I've been working on my own family tree since about 1994...not long after my Grama passed away...she raised me and so I do occasionally refer to her as my Mommy. Family that I am working on are Sanders, Denny/Denney, Cummins, Daglish, McCord, Heater, Galbreath and Lobb. I live with my best friend...my Ed as I call him! and our doggie, Jettie. I found Findagrave while researching our family and have been a die hard "Graver" since!

Update: Married my best friend, My Ed, Oct 3, 2014 and am now officially a "new" person lol

If someone has an issue with any memorial I am involved with please be polite and adult and send a note through the SAC feature and I'll gladly do whatever I can to make you happy! Leave me a rude hateful message and I'll first delete it and then forget about it. That way I'm returning the favor!!!!!!!

*******************
From Find A Grave's FAQ...
"The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it."
*************************************************

I have no problem whatsoever doing any updates or links to my memorials and definitely will transfer if I'm not related and you have a direct connection.
I love being able to link up entire families as far back or forward as possible!!! It's like a big puzzle and I also love puzzles :) It gives me a great feeling to get one done! I always try to find a little information to add to the memorials that I create so that it is more than the mere fact that someone was born and they died. Sometimes I'm unsuccessful but believe me I usually spend some time searching before I give up! Stubborness I guess lol.
If I ever add a picture to a memorial that you would rather I didn't please let me know but I prefer to hear from the "manager" of the memorial

Colleen,

Thank you so much for the transfer. I appreciate you creating and maintaining her memorial all this time. I just finished buying a home and moving to the area that the family is from so I am very excited to be able to get to research easier once I get myself settled. It's nice to meet a cousin no matter how distant :)

Sincerely,
Danna

Great Uncle J.C. Cooter
Hi Colleen, I'm new to Find A Grave so I hope I'm contacting the correct person. Jasper C "J.C." Cooter (1917-1968) was my great uncle, he had one child, a son, Jasper Charles Cooter (my second cousin) who was born in 1946 and lives in Pendleton, Indiana.

Someone has listed his children as Elizabeth Cooter Gimple (1921-1994) which is not correct. Elizabeth Florence Cooter Gimple "Polly" (1921-1994) is my grandmother. She is the sister to Jasper C "JC" Cooter (1917-1968)

Elizabeth "Polly" and J.C. are both children to Jasper Columbus Cooter (1859-1832) and (2nd wife) Elizabeth Flora Malone (1873-1940)

I just wanted to let someone know, thanks!

Are you a relative? My great grandparents lived in Anderson, Indiana, from 1910 to 1912 or so, and took lots of pictures with their friends there. I have a baby picture marked Mary Louise Clifford that I believe is her. Also some other people I think are her family. Would like to share them with their family.

It is so nice of you to take the time and visit places for this!! Thanks again

Thanks so much for helping me in the placement of Mr. George's resting spot, since he was already entered in Grove Lawn, I forwarded the obit to the contributor there.

RE: oops!
Colleen,
The link didn't work; what is the memorial number? Do you need me to remove the picture?
Thanks for all you do!
Karen
