Bobby Jean Orr
Do you know any more about Bobby Jean Orr (Find A Grave Memorial# 98354766)? I believe she might be the daughter of my father's cousin who died when she (Bobby Jean) was about 2 years old. Thanks so much, Amy Orr Harbor

Geddis/Geddes - Fitzsimmons
Under Nancy Geddis Harper (# 83415890) there is a note that states she was the daughter of Paul Geddis and ? Fitzsimmons. Nancy's mother's name was Sarah Fitzsimmson. She was married to Paul Geddis 1 Jan 1797, in Path Valley, by Rev David Denney, the Presbyterian minister who preceded Rev Amos McGinley, who married Nancy Geddis and Samuel Harper in 1820. I don't have any firm dates for Sarah. She died before 1817, probably in Path Valley, Franklin County, PA, as Paul Geddis married (2) Elizabeth 'Betsy' McConnell in 1817.

RE: Myers families
Hi Susan,
Your Daniel Wilson Myers is one of 10 children of Daniel Myers (1797-1863) and Mary "Polly" Wilson. Daniel Sr born in Maryland per census records, (probably Frederick or Washington Counties) and died in Centralia, Illinois. They were married in Sumner County, TN Oct 18, 1813.

Marriage license signed by Daniel Miers and Thomas Shoals.

Myers members of Zoar Church Allen County, Ky.:
Anney Mires
Daniel Mires,
David Mires
Elizabeth Mires

Daniel, Sr. left Allen County and was in Simpson County, Ky in 1850 and in 1860 census he was in Saline County, Illinois. He died in 1863 in Marion County, ILL.
Daniel was in Sumner County Taxable property and Polls for 1817 through 1822. I also find him in Allen County in 1830 and 1840 census. I think he may have been married more than once. If so, his first wife, Mary, is buried in Mount Union Cemetery in Allen County. Her stone just reads "Mrs. Dan Myers" no dates.
I have their children as:
Anna, David, Rebecca, George, Peter W., James H. Daniel Wilson, Maryann, Martha Jane, Henry Washington. Children staying here in Allen Co., Ky were Maryann, Martha, and Henry W.
All others wound up in either Missouri or Coles Co, Ill, or Marion Co, Ill or Allen County, Kansas.

Daniel Sr, is supposed to be buried in Centralia. If you can find him, I would greatly appreciate knowing where he is, and post a memorial for him of Find A Grave.

Freddy Brown.

Myers families
Hello Larry,
I see you have posted many Myers memorials on FindAGrave, and also I think I have seen some of your early posts on Myers forums. I am researching Myers families in Allen Co., Ky where I live, and thought you might help me some. I am searching Daniel and Hannah Myers, probable children of a John Myers b. about 1797. Another John Myers born about 1810 married Winifred Dalton. Who is this Johns' father?
Any info would be appreciated.

Many thanks for the headstone photo. Upon reviewing the name and the brief bio. for her I've determined she is not person I was looking for and will need to broaden my search.
Happy Hunting, Russell

RE: Missouri Ann Rideout
I am just learning how to us find a grave, so sorry to bother you---but do you have an ancestor Missouri A Rideout 1868-1897 or Missouri M Jones 1858-1923 they are both being linked to James Vandiver. Both are on the 1880 census Missouri A in Carter Mo and Missouri M in Howell County M.There is a death record for Missouri A--d.1897

Missouri Ann Rideout
There seems to be a major confusion with Missouri M Jones and Missouri Ann Rideout!! Did james E Vandiver marry two different women named Missouri? Have you ever come upon these two records? Missouri A Born in 1868 died in 1897, As it says on the tomb stone, but Missouri M Jones age 49 married James E Vandiver in 1907!!! Anyway I just wonderedif any one else had noticed the differing dates and middle initials!!!
