I've been doing genealogy on my family lines for over 30 years and also helping friends find their roots. After living in Maryland for the past 30 years I moved to Morristown, TN, near the end of 2007. I just love it here and I'm having a great time visiting all the cemeteries and providing tombstone photos for all my new "friends".|
If I fullfill a photo request for you, you may want to check for other people with that surname in the cemetery. When I have time I try to photograph any tombstones that are nearby that may be related.
I would be glad to transfer any memorials that I have created that are not in my direct line. Please feel free to copy any photos I've posted for use in your ancestry files.

|Erwin de Mooij||Charles Darnell|
Dear miss Raitala,
my name is Erwin de Mooij and I am the content webmaster for the 457th Bomb Group Association website.
At this moment I am working on a virtual cemetery/memorial on the website honering all 339 KIA/MIA/KIS of the group.
I saw your picture of Charles Darnell's grave marker and I was wondering if I could use it for the memorial. If you made any other photos of 457th BG members would I be able to use these too?
We would greatly appreciate it.

Hi Lynda - no worries! Thank you so much for the photo.
|Elaine||Hazel Roe Fisher Horner|
Hazel is wife of
Hampton Johnnie Horner Hamp"
I believe her to be buried with her Husband in
Carter Cemetery- Morristown, Hamblin Co., Tennessee.
Because you have photo in that cemetery I thought
you would be the one to ask if you could check
for Hazel there.
I would like to make a memorial for her.
Can you send photo?
Thank You for your time!

Hi - Pharaoh was my gr-gr-gr-gr-gr-grandpa. We've been looking for he and Barsheba for a long time and it looks like you found him! We've been to the cemetery just outside the gate of the Davy Crockett Boy Scout Camp and wandered it, not finding anyone familiar. We must have been at the wrong cemetery. Can you help me out? Is there another cemetery near there? I think we're in the right area. We live in New Market part time (in a grist mill built by another gr-gr-gr-gr-gr-grandpa in 1792) and the rest of the year we live in Washington State. When we're here, we spend a lot of time messing about in old cemeteries. Thanks so much!

This is a photo of her mother's grave, and you have already submitted it on her mother's memorial.
Thanks for your help.
