Bio Photo As far as I'm concerned anyone who wants to use what I've posted is welcome to it. You do not need to ask. Find a Grave has made it possible for me put many of my family members together and find a lot of correct birth and death dates.

Happy hunting and good luck with your searches.

Kneller Memorials
Hi Tom. Many thanks for the transfer of both
Edward Louis Kneller(#111710253) and Ruth Dianne Beidelman Kneller(#111710070) to my care. It was very considerate of you and will allow me to add further details as I discover them.

Thanks also for permission to use your photos. I'm sure they depict metal name plaques on a wall but they look like they are attached to the clouds.
I know you said you don't mind people making use of your photos but but I think it is important to give credit when it is due - particularly as it's almost certain that others will 'save' (ie.copy) the photos from my Ancestry tree - so I shall include a caption indicating that you have taken them and given your kind permission for their use in this way.

I think it is commendable that you have the kind of generous and sharing spirit that was envisaged by those who first conceived of the original Find A Grave site.
Best wishes and regards of the Season
and Happy Graving in 2015.

RE: Amos Storer

Check Family Search - have you ever used it? it is free and provides a great deal of information - a birth date was recorded for a male Storer - son of Amos

If the obituary states a certain age - I subtract that age from the date of death - I rely upon relatives to set me straight if I don't have the chance to go to Family Search

RE: Amos Storer

Often it has happened that a child was born - and died either at birth or soon after birth - then the parents would next the next child or another child with the same name

That is one possible explanation

The Federal Census records are not always accurate - and many people did not remember their birth dates so that could be another explanation

Usually except for the gravestones I find that genealogy is not written in stone - there are many discrepancies

Mike, Frank is 1 year old in the 1880 census father is listed as Amos Story in Monmouth county. Tom

Errr Thanks! so are you telling me I've made an error? Who then is the father of frank if it is not Amos whom I have listed as the father with Frank? Is there more than one "Amos Storer"?

I got the parental information from the Red Bank Register but at times they are incorrect - so

Please guide me

RE: Storer
No problem, Tom. I sympathize. My wife and I live in a 3600 sq ft historic house with my 51-year collection of genealogy records and books. And, of course, no one wants to receive any of them because "no room." Mobile home living has its attractions! Happy Holidays. -- Jay

Thomas Dick #114038532
Hi again, Tom. You sent me a SAC to add a link to a mother of Thomas Dick #114038532, and I approved it. But I should have looked more closely, because Thomas Dick lived 1763-1845, and the link you provided was to Sarah Adair Dick (1812-1886) #14526218. So I had to go back and unlink them. Obviously a woman born 1812 can't be the mother of a man born 1763. Had you intended to link him to a _different_ mother?

Amasa "Macy" Storer Dick (114088227)
Thanks for the dates for Macy, Tom. I put in your dates and was able to cut unnecessary wordage from the bio section and add a shout-out of thanks to you. Would you by chance have _sources_ for the dates that I could cite on the memorial in case anyone wonders where we got those dates? Much appreciated! - Jay
