I do NOT research edit submissions! If you find any info on an acct I manage that you feel isn't accurate, please let me know and I will certainly look into the matter. Thank you!|
I am a very active baseball mom of three school teams and travel ball team as well as concession manager and it is baseball season now! I do check in but I may not be able to fill a request or edit nearly as fast as I normally do. Please be patient as my family does come first.
I am a genealogy geek too! No surprise there! I love helping others and never mind transferring management of an acct or editing info. If I own an acct or even manage one don't be afraid to ask if you want it. Sometimes I suggest a date addition or something after taking the photo and people will transfer management of the acct to me to edit even though I am of no relation, so I am always happy to send to a family member to manage.
***I have recently taken management of a few inactive acct creators accts in order to make edits and links as I photo survey entire cemeteries. I am happy to edit info or transfer to family members. I have not accepted all their accts just select cemeteries as I photo them.
Feel free to visit my dad's page & leave a flower Find A Grave 43914016 http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=43914016

***sometimes when I post a picture from my I-pad while there at the cemetery, it posts sideways but will appear upright for me. Please let me know if I miss this so I can repost the picture. Thanks.
Anyone may use my photos for anything other than commercial purposes (unless express permission is given) or the creation of duplicate memorials on Find A Grave. You may copy and post them to other websites or use them in your family history or tree. For non-commercial uses and exempting creation of duplicate memorials my photos are gifts. It would be nice if you gave credit if you use them.

Dear Ms. Gilliland,
What a pleasure to finally have pictures of my relative's gravesite Mattie Jenkins. Also, taking the time to expose the dates was very thoughtful.
You're the best!
|Jan J. Shultz||James and Sarah Hurst|
Thanks so much for the transfer of James and Sarah. I will link them to the rest of the family. I sure appreciate your making their memorials.
|Margie Peek||Infant Son E B and also Infant Daughter Justice|
Thank you so much for getting the photos for me. My great grandmother was born Gilliland and the lived in the same part of Alabama. Do you think you could be related to her? I sure do need some help with tracing them if you would be so willing. Margie Peek email@example.com
|Margaret Green||RE: Robert Lee Knight|
Nancy Elizabeth Bain Knight is buried at Hopewell Cemetery. Her tombstone says she was the wife of Thomas Knight. You are listed as the manager of her memorial, and there is a photo of the stone.
Thomas Knight and Nancy Elizabeth (aka Bettie) were married in 1860, and were the parents of only one child. Thomas Knight is interred in Vicksburg, Mississippi were he died in 1863 as the result of being wounded during battle in the Civil War. Robert Lee Knight was the father of two daughters who are also buried at Hopewell Cemetery. They were Beulah Virginia and Carrie Beatrice Knight.
I fully understand your being unable to make changes to a memorial without knowing whether the suggested changes are accurate. If needed, I can email you any documentation you may need. Thank you for removing the junior from Robert L. Knight's name. It will definitely cut down on the confusion.
|Margaret Green||Robert Lee Knight|
Your memorial for Robert Lee Knight shows that he was a "junior", but his father was Thomas J. Knight.
From census records and Confederate pension records, it can be documented that Thomas J. Knight was Robert Lee Knight's father. Therefore, he was not named after his father.
Is there actually a Robert Lee Knight, Sr. buried at Hopewell? If so, is the gravesite near the other Knight's who are buried at Hopewell?
