I'm doing research on my family tree. My ancestors run the gamut from American Puritans, Loyalists, Patriots, Quakers, Abolitionists, slave owners, farmers, manufacturers, merchants, politicians, etc...They came from Bermuda, St. Croix, Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland, England, Norway, Netherlands, France, Denmark, and Germany around 1621 to 1886. A majority of them were English and Dutch colonists of New England, the Hudson Valley, and the Delaware Valley. Some migrated to the Great Lakes region in the 19th century.
