|B.J. Waters||Richard Bacot #72956169|
I'm wondering if you could tell me what the CSS Chicora and Palmetto have to do with Lt. Bacot. While the photo caption provides a nice history lesson on ironclads, I can't see how this is relevant to Lt. Bacot's memorial. I had one more photo to add but there isn't room. The guidelines for photos on a memorial is that we should add photos of the person, family portraits and certain documents are acceptable. Not sure a photo and article about the type of ship he served on would be included in that list. And the other "photo" of the CSS Arkansas, although does not fit in any category suggested by the FAQs, is at least the ship he purportedly served on.

This man did not serve in the US Navy, but in the US Army.
He served as an enlisted soldier from August 1840 until October 1847, and as an officer May 1861 until December 1870.

In the Baldwin Cemetery you have a photo of a
Cryderman Marker, you should add it to the other
memorials mentioned on the stone.
See Find A Grave # 100552458
I found the Cemetery last week-end and I will be
adding many photos as soon as I get my computer fixed.
|lori Velazquez||Thank You|
Thank you so very much for adding what information you had for my Grandfather Fireman Second Class Ross C. Hoffman. I have updated his memorial with info that I had.Your work is much appreciated.
|Sherlocks Cousin||Benjamin Tarr # 96733005|
You have him deceased in 1864 in Georgia, but information you have posted shows he was ALIVE and well and also deceased. It appears you have information on 2 different Benjamin Tarr individuals.
|Libby||Benjamin F. Tarr|
The memorial you have for Benjamin F(ranklin) Tarr (96733005) is, fortunately, incorrect! Benjamin did not die at Andersonville Prison. He survived the Civil War and went on to have 13 children. I do not have his burial place off the top of my head, but I would appreciate it if you would consider transferring his memorial to me, as he is a relative. I have linked to his father's memorial, but unfortunately, the burial place of his mother is unknown.
