I have always loved the old cemeteries. My interest in genealogy has brought me back into the cemeteries to find my roots. I love helping others to discover their past and to honor and remember those that have come before us. |
Currently I am working on photographing and transcribing the cemeteries of Queens Co. and Long Island, New York. I love learning about the interesting families that lived here and I am happy to help others when I can.
Nearly all of the information for the memorials I have entered is taken from photographs which I have personally taken. In the interest of getting as many people entered as possible, I have gotten behind in adding all my photos. If you see a memorial which I have entered and you would like a photo, please request the photo by clicking the "request a photo" tab on the memorial and then drop me a line to let me know that you have put in the request. I am not automatically notified when a photo request has been made on a memorial I have created.
I welcome all corrections. I try to be as accurate as I possibly can.

They and others areTasso Path, lot 86, grave 2 & 5 or 5A. Could you photograph these headstones? Thanks a lot.
|louise||Jane Gunn, b ca 1797 d. 1798|
As given now, Jane's parents are too young; instead we have the parents: George
Gunn d. 1797 and his wife Sarah (Ballard) Gunn
the Dr. George Gunn you have listed is apparently the son of George and Sarah (Ballard) Gunn; so baby Jane is their granddaughter. See #895295593

Dyane, thank you very much for the transfer of Marcus Cunningham.
|Kate Cook||Harris Dunscombe Colt|
Thanks for your hard work. I am working on the lives of several archaeologists and Colt is one of them. Would like to know the source of the information you wrote on him and whether this can be reprinted. If it can whose name should I put in the bibliography. Do you have more information on his coin collection, I couldn't find anything about it anywhere else.
Many thanks, Kate

She was my Great Aunt. I added her birthday-it's pending. Could she be transferred to me? Thank you.
