|I have been greatly helped by others who have so much more experience than I. I live in the Chester and Hopewell area and would love to be a help to someone else the way others have been to me!!|

Hi Historical Watson,
I am a member of the Colonial Dames 17th Century, and one of our chapters placed the marker at the Rolfe graves, along with the Richmond Virginia Chapter.
I am finishing a Texas Society State Marker book for Colonial Dames and was wondering if you could take a picture of the Colonial Dames marker itself for our book? It would be greatly appreciated.
We want to have the book finished by the end of January.

You are very welcome. I know there are some Dortons that still live in the Randlett, OK area. They might could answer some of your questions. Good luck.

Thank you thank you thank you! Peter is one of the New Market cadets that we never thought we would find, what a wonderful surprise. I have added the photos to our website at http://www.picturetrail.com/vminewmarket

Thanks so much for the photograph of Peter's footstone. Others have failed to find the grave. Looks like it is laying on the ground. Do you know who I should talk to to get it repaired and to possibly add a VA headstone?

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
I was never able to see them agagain after 1989. This allows me some closure knowing where they are.
Thank you for taking this picture. Also the grave location.
I took some more pictures in the Grand Rapids Veterans Home Cemetery today, but unlike you we have snow on the ground. Not too much, but it is coming.
