PLEASE DO NOT POST PHOTOS OF DEATH CERTIFICATES ON MEMORIALS I HAVE CREATED OR THAT I MAINTAIN. In my opinion, they are very distasteful.|
I am researching Cantrell, Gunn, James, Taylor, Eakin and Monsey families.
I have a fondness and great respect for veterans and recently completed (with the help of my cousin) marking more than 2000 veteran graves in Plainview. We placed a sticker on each stone so they could be easily identified when flags are placed at the cemetery on Memorial Day and Veterans Day. I am adding photos of their headstones periodically.

|AMB||Photo thanks :-)|
Thank you for going out to photograph the grave marker of Robert Cole at Plainview Memorial Park, and thank you for sharing on findagrave. I have removed the death certificate that I had posted. I posted it only because the person who made the entry had some typos in the dates and had the place of birth wrong. I sent the suggested edits and posted the death certificate so the person could see the source for correct information. Your photo of the gravestone clearly shows the correct dates, and the memorial manager has made the changes for the dates. Thus, the death certificate no longer serves a purpose and would detract rather than add to the entry. I agree with you that death certificates tend to look not good on memorials, and especially when they are posted at the top on the front page. ... Again, thank you for the photo.
