Bio and Links
Bio Photo My ancestors settled in northeastern Indiana in the 1830s and I am still here. I especially like old obituaries and newspaper clippings, and of course, cemeteries.

I generally follow the transfer guidelines as outlined by Findagrave. I try to get updates done quickly.

Exceptions: I often take photos when we go on vacation, so if I have a memorial that is not in NE Indiana, I am normally more than happy to transfer it as I have no plans to do research in those areas.

Thanks to all who have sent additional information for the memorials. Time does not allow me to thank each of your personally, but please know that the additional information is greatly appreciated.

RE: Obituaries

Sorry if I mislead you about posting obituaries. Find a Grave does allow the posting of them, although they don't encourage it, but I post them myself. What they do not allow, is photocopying them and then putting them up as a photograph. If you are going to add obituaries, they must be typed and put in the Bio section, not photocopied and put where photos are. Sorry if I confused you!

RE: Memorial #62198041
I made an error in the memorial number!
It should have been #50337383.
There are still two memorials for the same person (#62198041 and #50337383). Sorry for the mistake!

Memorial #62198041
This memorial is a Duplicate of memorial #50337083 and was created After that memorial. It would be nice if you would merge your data with the original memorial and delete your duplicate. Another option would be to request a transfer of the original memorial to you and then have the two memorials merged. Please consider how best to eliminate the duplication.

Thank you for the transfer and thank you so much for all you do. It is a Godsend for those of us on the other side of the country from our ancestors and family.
