Ran across this old news article regarding the grave marker for Samuel Lukens - cherish the photo posted in his memorial: “Tombstone Stolen from Tennis-Lukens Cemetery” By Tony Di Domizio, June 3, 2012, Montgomeryville-Lansdale Patch.
The grave marker, valued at $1,000, was taken from the grave of Samuel Tennis. Crime Watch are investigating the theft of a historic grave marker from the Tennis-Lukens Cemetery on Allentown Road. Tennis-Lukens Cemetery is located behind the former Sears Hardware at Towamencin Shopping Village on Allentown Road. The cemetery is open to the public.
The headstone was stolen between May 1 and May 17, 2012, police said. The headstone stolen belonged to the grave of Samuel Tennis. Police estimated the value of the gravestone at $1,000.
Contact Towamencin Township Police with any information on the theft or whereabouts of the grave marker at 215-368-7606. Callers can remain anonymous."

RE: Isreal W. Tennis
I took a picture of his name on the Cadet Monument in the cemetery. I'm still waiting to hear back to find out if he is indeed buried there or if its just a cenotaph.

I went back today to look again under Dennis but not finding anything. Another submitter let me know today that memorial info is from the cadet monument in the cemetery. It's my understanding that cadets and faculty who died while at the academy in earlier times have their names placed on it. I don't that it necessarily means that they're buried there though. I'm going to do my best to find out for you.

RE: Zell families at Mount Moriah
Hi Nelson, Unfortunately I know very little about the Zell family. I am still researching them. I just recently found out my 2Nd great grandmother was a Zell. That came about because it was on 2 of her 4 son's death certificates. My Aunt and Cousins always heard her maiden name was Valentine. Then we came across a marriage record for her mother (my 3rd great grandmother) and Jacob Zell. I just haven't much time to to research further. But if I come across a connection to the Merion Meeting Burial Grounds I will let you know☺.

Thanks for the photo, but it's the wrong one. The guy I was looking for d. in 1956 and is on a triple stone with Eileen and Lottie. Would you please remove the incorrect photo?
Thanks for the effort.

New "Automated" system for "Suggest a Correction/Submit an Edit"

******Please Note******
New System for Memorial Edits deployed by FindAGrave on 12/5/2013

Go to your Contributor/Profile page.
Look in the upper right corner. You should now see a tab called "Edits" - check there to see if any have been submitted to you.
Then just review and accept.

Way easier for doing updates to names/dates/places/plot numbers/links. If you don't approve within 21 days it will automatically accept it.

You still will get e-mails to add info to bio section.
