I find copying headstones interesting, I like finding interesting people with interesting story's. Most my family buried in the greater Philadelphia area but I live in the Harrisburg area so I'll copy headstones here. Worked inside most my life and wanted to be outside after I retired so copied headstones and published them in the Quarterly once issued by the Capital Area Genealogical Society.|
Please use 'edit' tab on memorial page for corrections and or additional information.
I now strictly adhere to the Find A Grave guidelines regarding transfers. No exceptions. Requests made that fall outside of the guidelines, or do not state relationship, are no longer being acknowledged. Virtual cemeteries are the way to "gather" your ancestors together.
Please don't justify an out-of-guideline transfer request for the sake of adding links and/or other information. Am perfectly capable of doing this, especially now with the new EDIT system - much quicker than transferring. If you decide to not forward information or links because a transfer isn't done, then that's your decision.

|Fluttrbye||Mrs David Strine # 44582318|
Dear Robert Viguers,
You left me a correction for the memorial I created for Catharine Holler Strine # 130457524, indicating it is a "Duplicate of earlier entry----correction should have been made to 'Mrs Strine".
So I have a question, if I may:
Is the grave marker for Catharine Holler Strine # 130457524 located at the same place as Mrs David Strine #44582318 Plot: Section 30, Lot G, Grave 6 ?
If it is the same person, then that makes Catherine Holler Strine the wife of David Strine? I was unaware of the connection.
I will send you the corrections to Mrs David Strine since you created the memorial and delete the memorial I have for Catharine Holler.
Thank you for clearing this up for me. I haven't found a record of the marriage of David Strine and Catharine Holler yet but it helps to have Catharine's name to go on to keep searching.
Thank you so much!
|J. Reed||Morris M. Miller|
My name is Jay Reed and I have been researching the Miller family for many years and I noticed the memorial for Morris Miller buried in the Methodist Cemetery in Williamstown. He is a part of my Miller lineage and I would like to maintain the memorial if you wouldn't mind. My link # is 46966052. Thank you for your time.

Is this your way of telling me that the Duey's don't have markers? If so, how sad, but thank you for your time and effort.
|Barry Michie||Mary Elizabeth Shatto|
Again, thanks for making the edits on a memorial, this time for Mary Elizabeth Shatto.
The newly accessible death certificates for PA on Ancestry are filling in many, many gaps and blanks.
And again, thanks for creating these memorials.

Elizabeth Swanger Carr. Robert that could be Elizabeth Swanger, She was Rebeccas grandmother and Catharine Carr's mother Mar 1788 to 1854. She was a Rhone before she married John Swanger. It took a while to clear up, since the cemeteries has Rhones and Swangers.
I was a grad of Green Park Union High School. Occasionally our sports teams would play Carson Long.
|Frank Bobak||William C Stuckey #53166234|
Robert, I've been working through the Stuckey family and I think the date of birth may be incorrect on this memorial. His tombstone states he died in 1905, he was 20 years, ? months and so many days. If that was the case his birth year would have been 1885+/-. I found him in the 1900 census and it states Jul 1884. Thanks
|Joe Nihen||William Garber|
Thanks for the heads up on William H. Garber's dupe.
Thanks for your additional information. Would you like me to transfer these to you. We have the goal of taking all tombstones at Restland so not all are relatives.
I will make to changes once I return from vacation.
