Judy Melton
Elias Bowman memorial
Denise, that date/place of death information is incorrect because it is based on that Civil War death documentation for the Pennsylvania "Elias Bowman".

Sauls Family Cemetery
Denise: Thank you for all you have done to preserve our Sauls Family History. For a long time I have searched for John Robert Sauls just to check to see if the Sauls Cemetery had been uploaded to Find A Grave. I always had entered Lawrence County, MS. I was looking for his sister, Martha Sauls Clark, in Lincoln County and stumbled on the Sauls Family Cemetery where John Robert Sauls is buried. In 1976, my husband's father collected money from family members to fence the burial site, install a cattle gate, and repair or replace many of the tombstones. He always indicated that the cemetery is in Lawrence County. On a map of Lawrence County, the cemetery is indicated on the east side of Terry Lane, which puts it in Lawrence County, as Terry Lane runs right down the county line. GPS for the cemetery: 31degrees 26.620N and 90degrees14.605W. I can email you a copy of a Lawrence County map with the cemetery located on it.

RE: Bernice Peavey Smith
No, I am not very active. I try to keep up with those of the immediate family. My family line is Peavey, Carr, Tarver and Posey. I'll try to find a recent photo of Bernice. Thanks for your kindness.

RE: Bernice Peavey Smith
Bessie Norwood and Bernice were life long friends from early grade school and always lived in Brookhaven until Bernice was put in a care facility in Boton Rouge. It just so happened that both died so close together.

Thank you,
Daniel Peavey
