Open for discussion re: transfer guidelines, i.e., is it better for a known family member to care for the memorial and receive contacts and answer questions about that family or for a person totally unrelated and, perhaps, inactive to receive such queries. I wonder about those guidelines as they now stand. If you are remotely related to a person whose memorial I created or were personally acuainted with the family I shall be more than happy to transfer said memorial. I don't feel qualified to answer questions about that person or their family nor do I have the time to field all of those questions. I have made those memorials to honor the deceased, not to honor me! It is sufficient to the cause that the memorial exists at all, no?

Family names:
Paternal: From Great Britain to Virginia and North Carolina all!
Maternal: From Germany and England to Wisconsin to South Dakota to California!

Hello Candace,

My husband and I were in Naco, Sonora this week and visited the Panteon Municipal there. We found that on the gravestone for Julia, her date of birth is December 19, 1887 and her date of death is September 29, 1973. We would appreciate it if you would note those dates in her memorial. Thank you

RE: Re: John & Helen Bateman
Oh, I'm so sorry to hear about her husband. We met them several years ago when we were in the Benson area and had lunch with them a few times. We really enjoyed visiting with them. I wondered why I had never heard from her in such a long time. Again I am so sorry. Please pass my message on to them. Also, you might let them know that my husband, John, just passed away suddenly this last October.

Re: John & Helen Bateman
You entered a photo of the tombstone for John Edward Bateman, #25548695, with full dates inscribed. The photo I had entered was just the funeral home marker. Thanks for adding that photo.

Maybe you would also add that photo to his wife, Helen Bateman, #22129310, since all the dates would be complete. I'll remove my stone once you have entered yours.

My duplicate is deleted. I'm so glad you caught it; I double-check numerous times b4 I add a memorial, in an effort not to duplicate. Perhaps since I didn't have Irene's maiden name it didn't show a match. Well written tribute to your friend! She sounds like quite a lady & a blessing to have as a friend. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Morris Family Farm Burial Site, Sunizona
I was studying your lovely photos for this site, and wondered if you could help me with my own project. I am working the list of unmapped cemeteries for Arizona. Could you go to Google Maps (main program, not off the cemetery page, and find the gravesite? If you zoom in and click on the location on the screen, a tag will come up with the GPS coordinates. Thank you for your time. - Rebecca
