Bio Photo I have been interested in genealogy since my late teens and have always enjoyed going through cemeteries and looking at grave markers. I am located in Dripping Springs Texas in the north Part of Hays County. I would be glad to photograph tombstones within a reasonable distance from me.

RE: Joel Dean marker
Yes, Joel Hutto is my husband's cousin. We were at this cemetery back in 2005(?) and never saw a marker. Joel says he was there in 2010 and saw something (rock-like)for Joal Deen, primitively made. I think we might be out of luck on this one, but thanks SO much for your efforts!
I guess you and Norma Stewart Ford are related.

Joel Dean
I went again today... did not see any markers for Joal Deen either. Sorry. I took a pic. of the sign out front... maybe a call to the Asso. might help position him??

RE: Joel Dean marker
Ok. Then (if I had that bit of info) I will go back over(soon) and check the old Stone markers and see if I can determine if it is still there.

Ferbia Yount photo request
Hi Joel,
We went to Pleasant Hill cemetery yesterday to fulfill some photo request. It's a fairly small cemetery so it's very easy to do a thorough search.
I found a marker that I think might be Ferbia's.
It reads: Mrs. F. L. Parret but the birth and death dates match Ferbia's memorial information exactly. Also, this headstone surrounded by quite a few Yount headstones. And it is near some Hobbs graves. Since she was a Hobbs, that would make sense. I'm wondering if maybe she didn't remarry?
I will post the photo on her memorial so you can see it. If you feel it's not her, let me know and I'll remove it.

RE: Manning/Rose family
Richard M. Rose's mother was Nancy Manning. Perhaps Exum and Thomas were her brothers. If so, this is new information that I did not have. I will do some research on these two men and see what I can find. Nancy's father was Richard Manning...I do not know the name of her mother.
