Hi Julie,
I am related to the Buffingtons by marriage. My connection to them is through the Liles line. Ester Jane Liles (1824-1919) married Pickens Taylor Reynolds (1815-1899) and at least two of their children married Buffingtons--Flora E Reynolds married Oborn Monroe Buffington and William Bartemious Reynolds married Georgia Anne Buffington. Plan on going to Georgia soon. Will let you know the date. Emory Buffington is my grandfather and also I am taking my father of 83 years old now. I know where Emory Buffington is buried and we have many cousins in that graveyard and I want to know all the people who are of my family and would like to meet the pastor. I know my granddad is the first one buried in the graveyard. I want my family to be known to all of the church. It will be between late December or next spring when I go there. Georgia is 700 some miles from Norfolk, VA. My dad was raise in GA and I was born in VA but know GA very well. I know the Buffington's married the Buffington's and Dunagan married the Dunagan and I have one brother and two sisters all live here. I am the only one never marrried retired now from Ford Motor Company building F-150 pickup trucks for years here in Norfolk, VA and believe in the Lord with all my heart. I would like to marry a Buffington one day. God bless the world and hope to hear from you soon. Robert Buffington, I am the son of Robert Buffington annd my dads father is Emory Buffington.
