I'm retired. I've been doing genealogy since about 1991. Like many genealogists I enjoy walking through old cemeteries and wondering about the lives of those who are laid to rest below my feet.|
Contact me, VIA THE EDIT TAB on a memorial,
if I have entered info of a friend or loved one and there is an error to be fixed or additions to be made. I welcome a POLITE request for changes, corrections, etc. Again a POLITE request.
PLEASE USE THE TAB on the specific memorial to send or suggest corrections or ask questions. DEMANDS OR RUDENESS WILL BE IGNORED.
REMEMBER THERE SHOULD NOT BE ANY REASON FOR RUDENESS OR TELLING EACH OTHER HOW TO DO THEIR JOB! Politeness goes much further.

Thanks so much for the obituary. I've added it to this memorial and credited you as the source. Much appreciated!
|Karin Olson||RE: Common ground|
It's always fun to find things in common with another. My husband & I plan to move to Virginia in the next couple of years. I'm looking forward to a change. While researching my family tree, I learned that I have ancestors from Pennsylvania & New Jersey. I've always liked the east coast. Great history. I've also found a distant cousin or two on Find A Grave. I love that the resources are out there for us. I think I saw that you put something on my great grandfather's page after I entered it the other day (Henry B Minor). Thank you! That was touching. I hope to learn more about him and my great grandmother Sophia.
|Karin Olson||RE: Your photo request|
Thanks for the reply. Since I'm new at this, I'm not always sure what to do. I appreciate the help. I'll upload the photo shortly. I won't report as a problem. I'm assuming you will initiate a correction.
|Karin Olson||Your photo request|
Hi. Just did my first photo requests last week. I got some photos for your photo request, but when I went to fulfill just now, I noticed that the dates don't seem to agree. I think it's because the dates aren't clear n the photo. The birth year for James (in the photo) appears to be 1889 rather than 1880. Also, the death year is questionable. It's hard to say if it's 1965 or 1985. I'll go back this week to verify the dates. Not sure what to do then. Do I upload the photo if the dates don't agree? Thank you.
No I don't remember any thing about that. I can check with Imperial to see if he is there.

|Corinna J Craig||Paulus Van Haren Küster|
Hi! I noticed on Paulus Van Haren Küster's page, you said he was your 7th great grandfather... I believe I am also directly related to him... If I have my lineage correct, his daughter Eva is my 9 times great grandma, which would make him my 10th great grand father! I was wondering if you know anything about Eva Custer, Sychen Godshalk, or any other information on that direct line that might be of interest. Feel free to email me at corinna_jo@Hotmail.com
|Debbie Adams||RE: Embree|
You're welcome! Glad I could help.
|Al Berry||Re: Alma Embree Lunter|
Sorry, I am not related to her and don't know her parents. I was doing some family research for a really close friend who is a Lunter and came across info about Alma so I entered what I had found. Good luck in your searches!!!

|Maxine Bell||RE: Bell family|
Jeremiah is my own line who came from Monette, MO---- may be also connected to Johnny's line, but, as of this moment not proven! Johnny's Bell line came to Oklahoma (just over the AR border) in the early 1900's his dad was born in Tarby, OK 1910. My dad's line was the Jeremiah Bell he was married to Dorinda Francis and their daughter Rosa Belle married Samuel Watkins and was dad's paternal grandmother. Their daughter, Rose Watkins, married James William Tincher who was my grandfather.
Johnny's Bell line started in Ozark Co. Missouri. His grandfather was William Harrison Bell.
