Bio and Links
Bio Photo The day I found Find a Grave, I was on a grave hunting trip to Pennsylvania, dragging my long-suffering husband, John, with me while I took hundreds of digital photos of family graves! I also have a shoebox sized file box of "analog" photos, as well as records of other burials in places I have never visited! Since then, I have uploaded all my new photos and scanned most of my old ones! It's been a labor of love. Occasionally, I still find entries I've made that contain a note saying I plan to scan and upload a photo at a later time, if you see one of these, please drop me a note reminding me to do so. Obviously I have missed it.

I have been working on my family history since 1996, and most of my contributions are my own dead relatives, but I've always loved cemeteries, and sometimes I think my obsession with genealogy is just an excuse to walk thru old graveyards!

I also have (or can scan) better copies of most of the grave photographs that I have posted here. Please email me if you would like me to send you a larger copy!

I'm also on Twitter & Facebook now if anyone is interested!

Also feel free to contact me with corrections or additions to the info I've posted or to request transfers of your relatives memorials. I have recently changed the email address that I use for Find a Grave due to problems with AOL blocking the notifications from this site. You can contact me at my gmail account, or at my AOL address:

chersfmly@aol.com

Don't be afraid to ask for transfers of any of your family graves I might have entered. My personal policy is much more liberal than the official Find a Grave policy. Generally, I'll transfer anyone who is not a close relative to me!

Clark/Bell
Hi Cherie - wondering if you might be of help in my family research in Washington Co PA. I am the great-great grandson of Robert Clark and Susannah Bell Clark (both at the Brush Run Cemetery). Their daughter Ruth Clark Rohm, however is yet to be found (but I would presume she's nearby as HER son, my grandfather James H Rohm is also at Brush Run).
Basically, I'm missing a generation that i can't find info on anywhere! And I have had no luck finding parents for either Robert or Susannah Bell Clark either. My mother believes that our Clarks actually maintained the grounds at Brush Run, so you'd think there'd be more of them buried there. thanks in advance and happy hunting!

Taking a hunch from your married name, I'm wondering if you might have any info regarding these persons. My mother told me that the Clarks actually did the maintainance at Brush Run, so I'm perplexed as to why there's only a few buried there. Thanks in advance!

RE: Connection?
I am related to the McDaids very distantly. Mary Martha Sprowls McDaid is the daughter of Nelson and Elizabeth Lucas Sprowls and the sister of Flora A Sprowls Travis, and she is my 3rd great grandmother. The reason I've sent so many additions/corrections is because I've recently been allowed to take pictures of the records of internment in West Finley Cemetery, and I'm trying to update/add the information to all existing memorials and add memorials for people that don't have them.

Would like to personally thank you!
Hi,I didn't realize that my second daughter who passed away in 1990 in Nebraska would be posted here. Today (June 7, 1990)she would of been 24 years old.

So just wanted to drop by and personally thank for doing so.

Need to Fix A Birth Date
HI,
I was looking at your posting for Clarence Earl Honeycutt. You have him born in 1809 and died in 1942. My records show him born in July 21, 1898. Just thought you might want to double check your data. Thanks...
Jonathan
