I live in Oklahoma and have always loved seeing old cemetery stones. Now I am able to go out and take pictures of them. I want to preserve as much as I can for our future generations. If you would like me to transfer a site to you I will be glad to. Please use the edit tab as it gives more of the information needed to transfer a site. You are welcome to use any pictures I take for genealogical purposes.|
Here are a few names I am researching: Holcomb, Kingery, Perry, Slover, Strange, Tucker, Vail and Weir.
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

you have Melvin Dawayne Morris on findagrave. He is on there two times.
See 14686326. You should take your off.
Ann I have just found another family that you are responsible for - Jacob Ryser - he was my great grandfather. You are a busy person. Just in case you are ever at the Enid Library and need something else to check on could you find out if there was an article about Delbert Ira Harman dying on 6 September 1937 with some sort of welding accident? I heard as a child that it was his brother Clarence who died at the Harman Welding Shop but I am now hearing that it may have been Delbert. Clarence and Delbert were my mom's brothers. I really appreciate all the things you have done for me and I am sure lots of other people based on the number of things you have accomplished. Thanks again Cheryl

I've updated these three pages with the information and links that you sent! :)

No, you're memory is working just fine. After you contacted me, I added all the data I had.
I have added your info and links, for which I thank you very much. I have no idea where Lestina is buried. I suspect she's with Robert without a headstone, but you'd have to contact whoever holds those cemetery records and check. Like Robert's mother, wives who died long after their husbands often don't get headstones, the children feeling as though the graves are sufficiently marked by the father's stone. I did ask the person who controls Howard's memorial to link him to Robert, but so far that hasn't happened.

Hi! No, not related. Robert is part of the large volume of work I undertook to document that cemetery. Unfortunately, I was never able to find much about him. As he is not your immediate ancestor, I would prefer to hang on to him, as I would like to keep the documention intact, but I would be delighted to add any info or links you might care to see added, giving you credit, of course. Not currently having an Ancestry account, I was unable to access your link, but it would be wonderful to have some sort of pedigree info for him. I have added to his memorial such info as I have for the family.

May I ask how he is related to you?

Since I listed the member's #, all you have to do is a search in your friends section. You can 'copy & paste' the number. Hope this helps.

Hi, my guess is that one of the earlier researchers on the James
and Anna (Doty) Parker descendants made an error in copying
down his birthdate. Unless my calculations are off, it looks like
the age on the stone makes his birthday Aug.17,1861, rather
than Aug.27, 1861. That would seem to make more sense than
having the death date be wrong. I don't have access right now
to all of the original bible records; wills; deeds; etc., from which
the compiled records on this family have been obtained during
the last 40 years by researchers. So I can't say anything about
legibility of the hand writing in their sources. Thanks for noting

Letting you know I haven't had a chance to study over the information you sent on this person but I will get to it soon. I did print it out and what I did read is very interesting. I'll get back to you once I've gone through it.
Louis was born about 1844 in New York and died sometime after 1895 but before 1900. His Memorial# is 15838162.
