karpel @ StL Calvary
I posted a picture for Angeline Karpel and the lot. Ironically, I took the pictures the same day as the one that I took for the other Trost's at Calvary. Something just said take a picture of us.

Please see the caption for a list of those buried in the lot.

William Crawford memorial # 54037536

Thank you so much for the work you do on the Find a Grave website. I was astonished to find there a photo of William Crawford, my great-grandfather. His son, J. Frederick Crawford, was my grandfather, and Anna Louise Crawford Smoke was my mother. I have never before seen a picture of William.

Do you possibly have any other old photos of the Crawford family, such as of his wife Hannah Ritchey? I have a picture that I believe is of Hannah as a child sitting for a portrait, but would love to add to that any others that are available. As you would know, old photos seem to be the hardest piece of documentation to find when trying to trace one's ancestry.

Thank you again.

RE: Hanpeter
Yes, thank you so much! I'll check these names against my notes. These people have to be related.

RE: Hanpeter
Uhg! This is stumping me! There aren't that many Hanpeters in the USA not to mention St. Louis. There's got to be a connection. She would be a generation back so I'm looking for "older" Hanpeters. Are your Hanpeters related to the ones buried at St. Peter's Cem..
Anyway,thanks for your reply!

Hanpeters in St .Louis
I saw some of the memorials you created for the Hanpeter family. I have a 2nd great-grandfather who married a Caroline Hanpeter (1830-1860). He was Henry F. Kramer. Sadly, Caroline died when she was 30 and is buried at St. Peter's Cem in St. Louis. I really have no info. on her family and am wondering if you have any clue who she might be. She had one son, Charles Wm. Kramer,my grt-grandfather.
Any info. would be a help.

Yes, we're related, but distantly. Would you mind transferring their memorials?
