Fallen Graver

Sadly, connie adams has passed away. Please consider visiting their Find a Grave memorial page and leaving some virtual flowers. Their enthusiasm for cemeteries and willingness to help future generations lives on through their contributions to Find a Grave.

Bio

I am a PK (Pastor's Kid), so I have lived in many different places during my lifetime, and I don't really claim any one of them as "home", although I did live in northern Virginia for 25 years as an adult.

But both of my parents were born and raised in the farming community of Meadow, near Benson, NC, and both of their families have lived in Johnson County for generations. This makes it relatively easy to research my ancestors. But there are over 1000 cemeteries in Johnston County, and many of them are not easy to find. I enjoy visiting cemeteries and looking for an unexpected surprise.

I enjoy taking photos for other people who are not so lucky to have most of their ancestors in one geographical area. I think of my grave searches as scavenger hunts.
