Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am constantly tramping through cemeteries in Starke and Lake Counties, Indiana, looking for relatives for the family tree. If I can help someone else in the process, I'd be glad to. If someone wants a memorial transferred, just ask. I'm focusing on the last names of Gappa, Lemke, Huebner, Schacht, Keehn, Byer, Haley, Helms, Giffin, Wilhelm, Schnaufer, and Kaiser for me while I'm working on Swatts, Brooke, Johnson, Mathias, and Vanaman for my cousin.

RE: Brooke
Thank you for the transfer. The person who had that memorial before he passed, is there any way I can get any of his memorials transferred to me? Thanks again.

RE: Brooke
Well, I would like him transferred, if it would not be to much trouble. I will let you know some more information when I can find it, thanks. :)

RE: Brooke
Alright, thanks. Is your cousin related to the FLINKOWS, from Germany?

Ida Thurman Brehm
Hi, I was wondering if you can transfer my Great Great grandmother daughter Ida Thurman Brehm to me. Ida was married three times. She is resting next to her second husband. At the time of her death she was known as Ida Smith. I would like to add all her family info to her page. Her Find A Grave # is 130797100 and she is resting at St. Mary's Cemetery. Evergreen Park, IL. Cook County. Hope to hear from you Laurie Bickel Machen

Hello Andy, on your Bio you said you are working on the Brooke family for a cousin. I am related to James Cecil Brooke (F.A.G. Memorial, #17042172.) I have LOTS of information on his mother's side. Have a nice day,

RE: Mary Ellen Allen Barrett Jones Collier
Hi Andy!
Ok, now your mystery is solved!
I am the Smith's youngest grandaughter.
Catherine Jane is the Smith's daughter who died even before my mother was born. I was told she choked on a peanut. Was only 2 years old and so sad. She would have been my Aunt Cathy. The Smith's also had a son, Wesley Austin, who passed away around 15 years ago. That is who my grandparents were visiting in the picture down at Indiana University.
Mary Allen....is my grandmother's mother, who lived with them and my mother and uncle in Hammond, IN. Her name is Mary Catherine Fulton Watson Allen.
My mother passed away just last year at the age of 91. My brother is the one who has done all the geneology work and I'm trying to catch up. What a job, but it is SO SO interesting.
Thanks for maintaining my grandparents memorial...and yes, I'd like you to transfer them to me. I went into this site to make them a memorial and low and behold, they had one already!! Thanks Andy
Sincerely,
Janice

What a lovely surprise it was to find your photo of Carl and Anna's headstone in Oak Woods Cemetery on their memorials - thank you very much!
