My maternal great grandmother started my interest in my family history. She told me stories about when she, her parents and grandparents moved from Indiana to Kansas in covered wagons. The wagon train encountered peaceful bands of Indians along the way and her stories continued. She has lead me to my journey of uncovering the lives of my ancestors. After 30+ years of researching I have lots of records, stories, facts and pictures and now I am sharing what I have discovered with family and friends. Some of that sharing is showing up on Find-A-Grave.com. Happy Digging!|
Names that I am researching: Lohr ~ Leisman ~ Pierce ~ Biggs ~ Wortman ~ Wright ~ Campbell ~ Wilmoth ~ Love ~ Stultz ~ Harrison ~ Hudson ~ Rourke ~ Dryz ~ Thomas ~ Davis ~ Hockett ~ Waldrop and many, many more ... <|:0}
I live in Oklahoma and visit cemeteries in the surrounding counties near where I live to take pictures. I also have family in the surrounding states and will take pictures when I visit them. If I take a picture and post one for you, you may use them for your genealogical records.

|Timothy Wortman||A simple Thank You|
My name is Tim Wortman and I am the nephew of Bus Wortman. I just wanted to take a second to say Thank you for all of your work. You have made it possible for me to put together and finally see where my family has come from. It was only a few years ago that I really knew anything at all about my family history. My family never spoke of their history. I am so excited to be able to put together several generations of my family, just from your work.

It's strange that the edit originally submitted is still showing as pending on my edits page, so the system doesn't allow me to submit the edit again.
#82900493 is the father link for Norman Green.
Thank you for your help.

Thanks so much for taking the picture of the McCamlys. I appreciate what you do for Find A Grave for all of those who live so far away.
Why did you put the " around Harrison on william Harrison NIMMO findagrave memorial?. That was his name if you would transfer I will update info and also I need to go repaint the stone. His sisters did not know where the grave was so I checked and painted the stone so they would know. Thanks

|Zerelda Holder Hammer||Wayne County Book|
I have the Wayne County Cemetery book, and there are 22 Lohr people (and there could be more in the supplement). I can email you the information if you think it might help.
