Naval Air
Mike, thanks for the virtual flowers/wings left for my cousin JT Casey: 474562, and especially for all you're doing for the memory of Navy Aviators.

"Cash" Register #35340152
I made a typing error in Cash's bio. It should be "VC-21" not "VC-11".
Thank you for adding his bio. Cash and Doug Henderson were the first casualties of the VF-3/VF-6 squadron being formed by "Butch" O'Hare in San Diego.

Harold Haverson
Mike, do you know how you came up with his date of birth? ANC has no record. Haverson was a member of my aviation fraternity and we think he likely was born before 1904.

Thanks for your efforts.

RE: CAPT E.H. Seiler, USN
Hi Mike,
You are welcome!
If you ever get around Houma, Louisiana make sure you go by my buddy, Charlie Hammonds FBO.
He has a Naval Aviation Museum in his hangar.
His son, Ricky, is an Annapolis Graduate and flew as a Top Gun instructor. He also flew in the movie.
Best REgards,

Names on your list
I see clearly that you do have Mustin. I though Mustin field is mainside at Pensacola. Moffet was not an aviator although he was an energetic proponent of Naval aviation and opponent of Billy Mitchell. His Wikipedia bio says that he was designated a Naval Aviation observer and shows a pilot's wing among his awards and badges, surely an error as there are distinct observer wings. My nephew, an osprey crew chief, wears them. my brother is an aviator and my sister in law wears miniatures of both wings badges as a pendant.
