I have no family members buried in the Twentynine Palms Cemetery but I have many friends buried there. I love doing family history, I live next to the cemetery and walk through it most everyday. I decided to start taking pictures of the headstones/markers and putting them on Find A Grave to help others in their quest. If you are a family member of someone I've added to the site I'll gladly transfer ownership to you under the Find a Grave rules. Please know I'm human and I make mistakes (unintentionally). If I have the wrong information please let me know so I can make corrections.|

Thank you so much for the prompt reply.
I see from your bio you have many friends in the Twentynine Palms cemetery would you happen to know James Edward Shelton. If so do you know how he was connected to John Ransom Shelton. Thanks so much.

Hello and thank you for creating the memorial pages for my grandparents, Curtis and Marie Lelless. I would d like to request a transfer of their pages to me, Christina Belcher # 48663176. Their memorial #'s are 98913129 & 98913193. And once again Thank You very much! I don't get a chance to get out to the cemetery since its a few hours from my home so it's nice to know there are people like you out there looking out for things.

He was in my class, 1969. He lived just down the hill from me and we rode the same bus. The cut-off date for starting school was Dec. 15. Kids born on or before that date started school a year before those of us who were born after Dec. 15. Johnny was the oldest member of our class. My sister and I were the next oldest. If my scanner were working I'd scan his senior class photo for his memorial.

The '1897' seems to agree with the state and federal record, and family tradition on an Ancestry Family Tree. But leave it as it is on the monument. Such a small matter. When I find an engraver's error I include a short note on the memorials I write.

Thank you so much for posting this marker. He was my fathers father. I really appreciate it.

Thank you so much for the information about my great-aunt "Ora". I'm glad to know where she is, but sorry there is no monument for her. Thank you - M. Perry
