Bio and Links
Bio Photo I joined Find-A-Grave in March of 2012 I like taking walks and I like taking pictures. Since I am within walking distance of Oak Hill Cemetery, St. Margaret Cemetery, Menasha Cemetery, Rest Haven Cemetery and St. Patrick Cemetery, they were wonderful places to go for walks. I would read the head stones and see the history and often the heart ache of families. When I discovered Find-A-Grave it only made sense to take my camera along to combine activities I was already doing to help others. I do have family buried in Oak Hill and St. Margaret cemetery but now I feel I have even more family there. I have been taking pictures and adding records randomly but am pleased to help others find their families too.

RE: Gertrude Padelford

Wow. I've never seen them all together like that. It brought tears to my eyes. I didn't know Gertrude was in the Kuehl plot, given that she had been divorced from Charles for a long time and had remarried. Your relationships are correct as far as I can tell from a quick read. You might want to include Emil, the youngest child of Herman and Emilie. In birth order, the children are: Charles F., Frank H., Albert, Hattie and Emil. After the holidays I can provide more information on some of these people. In the meantime, thank you SO much, and stay warm! Susan

RE: Fredrich Kuehl

Thanks, Nancy, for clarifying that for me. I've been using Find a Grave for some time, but it wasn't until now that I joined, so I could ask you a question. So you've been helpful in more ways than one! Sometime (no rush) I'd appreciate it if you could help me locate Gertrude Padelford (Sept. 1885 to Sept. 1962). She was the wife of Charles Kuehl, also in that Plot H, 135, but they were divorced and she's somewhere else. She is in Oak Hill, though, but not listed in Find a Grave as far as I can tell. Someday I'd love to come wander the cemetery with you, but I'm in California. It's a long trip!

Fredrich Kuehl

Nancy, thank you very much for the work you do. Your Oak Hill records have been so very helpful in my genealogy search.

Some of my family, the Kuehls, are in Plot H, bunch of zeros, 135. I have a list of family names and dates. It shows Fredrich (or Friedrich) as being born in 1822 and dying in 1886. He was apparently the first in Plot H, 135, because he is, by your records, 001. His wife, Johanna, is 002. On your Find a Grave information the date of his death is listed as Oct. 21, 1978. Than can't be right. Is the date from the stone (very hard to read, I imagine) or from somewhere else? I don't need an answer right away, but I am curious. Thanks so much for your help.

Kippas/Kipper at Lakeview Cemetery, Oshkosh, WI
Hi Nancy

It appears you may have made a special trip (hope not) to Lakeview Memorial Park in Oshkosh to photograph the markers of the Kippa/Kipper memorials that I added. I assume they may be relatives.

From July - October I photographed all of Section F of Lakeview and created memorials where there were none including the Kippa/Kipper burials. I have been slowing going through the 4000 pictures I took and adding them to the memorials. About 2500 pictures remain to be reviewed and I expect to finish by Spring 2017.

If you find you need photos for any of my other memorials in Section F you can contact me directly or check the request a photo box on the memorial. I regularly check to see if photo requests have been submitted. I should be able to easily find the pictures on my computer

On my profile page I do have a section pertaining to the status of Section F in hopes of saving family members trips to Lakeview to take pictures.

Thanks so much for the transfers. I don't request too many so I wasn't sure how quick to expect them, but this must be some sort of speed record!

RE: Riverside Cemetery
Nancy,
Thanks for your welcoming message. That was indeed me on Halloween. Sorry we didn't connect that day, but perhaps we can meet each other on another occasion.
Thanks for the updated info for Doris Franklin. I appreciate receiving any additional details for the memorials I enter, and I really welcome hints from those of you who have been doing this longer than I have. Seems like there's a great deal of experience out there, and it surely has been generously shared.
Happy hunting, and I hope to run into you some fine, sunny afternoon!
