Bio and Links
Bio Photo If I have made a demonstrable error of fact on any of my postings, please let me know in order that I may correct it. As many of the stones are old, worn, and weathered, I have done my best to interpret the information thereon. If I'm not reasonably sure of the information, I won't post it.

With very few exceptions, all my interment data comes from photographs of the individual's gravestone done by me in the field.

If you see an image you would like a copy of, let me know and I'll be happy to provide one. There is but one proviso however. Any image provided must be for your personal use only and is not to be uploaded to another web site.

All images have been resized to fit the requirements of the site. (The implication here is that, given the different resizing/resampling algorithms in different pieces of imaging software, the original image will have greater detail.)

Additionally, since almost all have been cropped to subject, there may be other gravestones in the area which may be of interest. If you believe this to be the case, please let me know.

On the subject of 'Relationship Links' and 'S.A.C.'s', please read the following carefully. I will be happy to make links and corrections.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY:
However, I would ask that you please double check your suggestions for accuracy before submitting them. Hopefully you will have a reasonably reliable source for the information, AND HAVE PROVIDED IT!!!

I have been deluged recently with suggestions and requests to make relationship links which simply cannot be possible. When you ask me to link a child to parents who would have been 3 years old at the time of the child's birth, it's probably not going to happen. Of course, if you wish, I can easily put up anything you submit and attach your name to the erroneous information. It's your decision. There is enough bad data on the internet as it is and I really don't want to be adding to the problem.

RE: E Imler
The images have been removed. I am happy to see you are willing to add the appropriate information to the memorial. Very few people are willing to do anything other than put in basic information. You are one of the exceptions, an I appreciate that. If you failed to get a copy of the obit before I downloaded it, let me know. The source information about the newspaper was in the note. Thank you.

RE: Flavel Jodun
It was just a suggestion, as I did not know that someone previously sent you the other date - you would certainly be best to keep that date then I would think, as my date just came from his Veterans' file, which could of course as you say not be as accurate as family files. please don't change i on my account, as I thought perhaps it was a typo when I saw it.
Thanks for letting me know that someone else had given the other date - so do just keep it that way!

Centre Friends Meeting House
You have posted some great pictures. I am told the stone next to their sign was a "stepping stone" that aided people in mounting their horse. I suppose possibly also was helpful stepping into and out of a carriage.

I am curious about all the "gravestones" here and behind other meeting houses, as the Quakers supposedly did not believe in having them? Perhaps the stones just marked location of graves but contained no name or other information.

Hi tom, been struggling to find an address for a cemetery you've photographed.

Do you happen to have an address to st Paul's in the Kirkwood Delaware area? We don't live too far and would Luke to plan a visit.

Thank you.
