I started researching my dad's family several years ago. I started out with a composition notebook and a few names. I began my journey visiting the cemeteries locally. I took pictures of graves and recorded my information in my notebook. I have since added over 5,600 entries on the rootsweb site. I think this is a great place to preserve our heritage for those searching in the future. |

You've put in request(s) at Calvary in Cleveland. Several of us are actively working to clear the more than 715 requests. We've actually cleared close to 100 in the past week. With 400,000 burials if you could please obtain plot information AND a plot map one of us will be more likely to be able to fill the request, as the office will only give out a little information to each person. The office phone number is (216) 641-7575. On my page I have the plot maps listed that we already have which is quite a few. If the burial is in one of those sections we don't need another map, just the plot info on the request.
You can try to tell them you'll be visiting when they're closed, etc. So far everyone who's called has been successful in having a map mailed, a few e-mailed. If you get one let me know and I'll give you my e-mail address. With thousands of graves per section a plot map would be VERY helpful. Without plot information it's basically impossible.

I'm distantly related to the Baggetts. Don't know why I didn't mention that in my original post. I see that there are a lot of Baggetts/Brewtons at Ray's Chapel that are all part of one family, but not connected through family links. Might have to see if I can get that accomplished! Take care.

Hi, Tami, would it be all right if I added your headstone photos at Ray's Chapel Cemetery to my family tree? Thanks for all your work on Find A Grave.

|Claire||Milsted Family Cemetery|
In 2007, you seemed to have photo surveyed the Milsted Cemetey on Lillian Highway.
There is a photo request in the cemetery. See link:
The photo request is for Ether Purcell Reeves, Find A Grave Memorial number 18095079.
While researching this photo request, we found that the only other Reeves in the cemetery is Rex Breaton Reeves, Find A Grave Memorial number 18095076.
You started the memorial page for Rex and submitted the photo of the grave stone. Your photo also shows that Ether's information is on this same slab. We thought you might want to fulfill this photo request, using the same photo you submitted for Rex Breaton Reeves' grave.
