Hi Janice, I saw you mark the one memorial for me to look for the accurate memorial you made. So I will send all the edits to your memorial. Just thought I would give you a heads up! Hope all is well. And again, sorry for bombing you with all these edits. We only have 3 sections left! So beware, more are to come! Happy New Year!

RE: Picture of monument for Richard C. Carson
Hi Janice,
The contact would be
Brunswick City Hall
115 W Broadway
Brunswick, MO 65236
Phone 660-548-3048
My sister volunteers with the Chariton County Historical Society and they are trying to photograph all Chariton County cemeteries, too. This City Cemetery is mowed, but has quite a few stones that are overgrown in weeds, including poison ivy. My sister talked to city hall about spraying and was told maybe this fall. Hopefully they could have the manpower available then to reset Richard's stone. The round granite stones like he has are difficult to read unless the light is just right, and even harder to get a readable photo of! I imagine his memorial was taken from an old listing that probably had the dates recorded incorrectly. You probably can't really tell from the pictures, but the cemetery is on a pretty steep hill. Like many stones in the older section, his was one that you wouldn't be able to read from a distance which is probably why no one had photographed it before. Anyway, I hope this helps! Rain and cooler temps are in the forecast, so keeping my fingers crossed!

You're very welcome! The day started out fairly nice but didn't last stay that way very long. I've been wanting to do that cemetery for a long time, and since I live a couple hours away, wanted to stick with it. Glad I could help!

George Rogers
I am not related to George Rogers, and do not have any further information about him. I have transferred his memorial to you. Wishing you good luck in locating information for him.

Thank You Janice for work on picture of my mother's grave. I will do some updating on this picture when I have more time. My Dad wanted to be buried in Orrick with all the "Piggs" and I am glad I can get him back to his family in a small way with this. He had a wonderful 2nd wife and was married to her for 25? years. He is buried with her.I would love to meet you some day and love your I remember when....Orrick, and all your memories.

Thank You Again!

You've provided no marriage date so I cannot change what's listed. I simply entered the spouses year of birth and death for both women...the system entered the way they were shown due to a lack of marriage date.
