Bio and Links
Bio Photo My interest in genealogy began as a child. We spent a lot of time with my Grandmother who maintained the cemetery plot that her son & parents were buried in. It is a rather large cemetery with several old graves with unreadable headstones. I've always wondered who they were, what they did, etc. So much history in graveyards certainly not to be feared like they show in horror films! Every month I usually list the birthdays for the people I have included in my virtual cemetery list. If you would be so kind as to drop by and leave a flower that would be wonderful and very much appreciated! God bless!

If I have added a picture or anything that you would like to have me remove, please send me a private message. Sometimes I go to cemeteries and leave a token for someone who I don't know its not always a relative.

Hi Cheryll,

I just found out today that my childhood friend passed away 28 years ago. I had been searching for her for years and was able to finally reach her sister on Facebook.

Noticed that you left her some flowers, wondered if you are related to her or were you a friend of hers as well?

Thank you,
Stephanie

I too love cemeteries....
and have been doing family research for several years now. Cheryll, are you grand daughter to Gertrude Breckenridge? My great grand father, William Henry Stewart, was husband of James' mother, Sarah. Sarah was 3rd wife of Wm Henry.
So, the Breckenridges are step related to me.

I live in NW Montana. I walk a local cemetery almost every day. Peaceful place. I've spent quite a bit of time on Find A Grave while doing family research. I love the information it gives.

If you are Gertrude's grand daughter, do you have pictures of James, Gertrude and Raymond's tombstones?

Garners and Popes in Westview Cemetery in Atlanta
Cheryll:

I found Evelyn and William Garner. With them were:

Minnnie L. Pope 8/31/1895 - 2/19/1984
Frank P. Pope 7/25/1889 - 9/3/1957
Vanie C. Pope 1896 - 1989
J. Clifford Pope 1896 - 1963

Would you please make memorial pages for them and send separate photo requests for each so I can upload my photos? Thanks.

Phil

RE: Fannie and Hugh Crain at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta
Should I just delete the photos on my phone? Or do you want me to email them to you?

Fannie and Hugh Crain at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta
Cheryll
I have photographed the Crains' markers in the large mausoleum.

The problem is that due to the poor lighting and the fact that they are extremely high, the photos are of very poor quality.

Do you want to just leave the request for someone else to do it or do you want me to email them to you for you to look at first?

Teir F means there are 5 people stacked below so they are quite high. Not very good for a phone camera to photograph. Probably needs someone with a high quality camera to do.

Sorry
Phil

Hi Cheryl,
I see that a few years ago you left flowers on my great-great-grandmother's memorial and I am wondering if you might be family?

Did you know that there is a Find A Grave site for Sharon Lea Sloan Nelson and Paul Edmond Nelson in Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery in Omaha, NE?

Sharon's Find A Grave #134875912
Paul's Find A Grave #94562451

Is there any way these two could be combined? You have done a lovely job with Sharon's memorial. She is my first cousin.
