Stephen Farnell Born in Halifax West Yorkshire.|
I have done research on my family tree and now share the experience with those who may be interested. I have added a number of graves to Find A Grave which may help others in the future. My family roots stem from the Farnell family and the Attwood family and my wife's from the Ward and Soakell family and the families therefore attached to these. My interests also are of the Military, as I'm an ex-service man myself. Should I come across a Military grave not on Find A Grave I will add it for the interest of others. It is not my intention to offend anyone but to preserve the memories of our fallen and the resting place of the dead.
Weather and the elements, and vandalism can cause loss of graves and monuments and so lost for ever. Here at least they are preserved for the viewing of anyone interested.
I can be contacted by email at.
Any queries on living people are private and should be respected as such.
Any queries on the deaths or burials of my additions I will try to help.

Thank you for the photos of the screen wall that you added to my memorials.

since you've done the research on this, I think it would be more appropriate if you ask Gary and Carina of the IWPP for the transfers (see their guidelines). All I've done is take the photographs, so I have no research interest.
Take care, Bob

I made the suggestions you requested with some minor edits. Next time I go to the cemetery, I'll take a photo of all their graves together and post it to each memorial, if you like, maybe replace the row photo with it. But the memorial managers would probably have to re-sort the photos. Just a thought.
Take care, Bob

Thank you so much for the info on Sgt. Johnston, you have provided much sought after info for the family. Thanks also for transferring the memorial, I do have photos and will add. You have been a great help.

This is regarding a message that you left for someone in August 2013 regarding military burials in Hanover Cemetery in Germany. I am wondering if you might have any information on Flight Sgt. Thomas F. Johnston, RAF Navigator 109 Squadron, born 1920 died 20 Feb 1944. He was a cousin of mine, and I am interested in the circumstances of his death. Also trying to learn of any other family connections in UK (I live in the US). Would greatly appreciate any information you might have.

You guys took a few photos today for me at Burngreave. I have added a few memorials as a result of information from the pics. If you want to upload your photo and get credit for it, the memorials are: 125764496, 125764052, and 125764323.
I did upload the photos myself, and added in the caption that you took them. However, if you wish to upload them under your name please do so, and I will then remove the one I uploaded.
Thanks again for the photos you were able to get. Hopefully you will be able to find a few more in the future.
Done and your welcome
