I have been researching my family history for many years and am fascinated with cemeteries. I love the old headstones. They were so unique.|
I started adding information to F.A.G. from obituaries my aunt had kept on people she knew. It progressed into trying to complete as many cemeteries in the area as I could.
If I have created a memorial for one of your family members; please let me know and I will transfer it to you. Although F.A.G. has set rules about transferring memorials, I don't adhere to those. If one of my memorials is a part of your family tree, I will transfer it. Family belongs with family. Unfortunately there are some small minded people who will not transfer a family member because they are not within the restrictive FAG guidelines.
Also, I don't mind my headstone pictures being used; but, I would appreciate being asked first and to be given credit for taking the picture. It is only common courtesy. I spend a lot of time and gas in documenting the rural cemeteries in this area and don't appreciate those who think I am petty because I expect to be given credit for the work I do.
With the new "Edit" function, I can't guarantee the accuracy of the information on my memorials anymore. It has it's good and bad points.

Hi Linda, I just saw a "Flower" note you had left on a memorial for a WWII veteran, distant relative buried in Pittsburg County Oklahoma. I was wondering if you still have that info available? If so, I would love to include for my great-uncle Edgar Andrew Stanley, 8/1921 - 1/1993, WWII Navy veteran buried in California at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Santa Nella, Merced County, Memorial 134535314. I manage his memorial so you can submit the info on the edit tab for inclusion on the bio.
Thank you very much. I appreciate the volunteer work you do for Find a Grave. I promise to pay it forward.

|Harvey G. Kimray||INFANT AUTRY|
Hello and thank you for the work you have done on Find A Grave. I noticed there is an infant Autry born and died in 1925 buried in Roosevelt, OK. My mother was Jewel Autry Kimray whose parents were Emerson and Melinda Autry.
In my family tree I show no infant. Would you please send me more information on this.
Thanks Harvey Kimray

I did get the Isaac Smith/America Combs memorial transfers and I thank you much for this.
Re Smith Squires... I submitted some updates via the edit process. Thanks for offering to do the updates. It is much appreciated. I wish you the best of luck with your project. And also thank you for creating the memorials. Without researchers such as you, those of us that do not have the means to travel extensively to do our research would be missing so much. Know that this is much appreciated.

I sent the message about Mrs. Clara Etta McCool. I feel like it is the correct McCool because your relatives (Hendricks) are from Myra and Era Texas, both towns are in Cooke County. That is where several of the McCools had lived. I know Uncle Jim went to El Paso and 3 of the siblings went to California. There was 9 of them. I grew up in Myra and Era. Again if you know where he is buried I would appreciate the info. Brenda Miller
