Four years ago when I discovered Find a Grave I found this website to be invaluable in my family research. I then began photographing graves of my relatives. Now I photograph graves of people that I don't know hoping that I can help someone else find their relatives. I love to visit old cemeteries. Each weekend I try to visit three or four cemeteries.|
I know that I manage a large number of memorials but I am not "in it for the numbers."
I don't have time to research every person that I enter. I hope that the memorials are a starting point for someone researching their family.
I transfer memorials that are not related to me. Please follow the guidelines and state your relationship.
Please use the edit tab for requests. This does prevent accidents.
Also, when requesting transfers or information remember to ask nicely. Questioning someone's faith is no way to get help.
Advice for new members: Don't let negative comments discourage you. I received and still receive them but when you receive and email from someone who has found a relative with your help it is all worthwhile.
My families are Pillow, Jordan, Yates, Cash, Campbell and Mays.
Feel free to use my pictures. That's why I post them here.

Thank you so much for the tombstone photo for Vic. It is such a beautiful stone. I was good friends to the whole family. Vic and Susie and I road the same school bus every day to school and I was always over their home visiting. His sister Barbara that just passed taught me in Sunday School at Piney Ridge in the old church before the new one was built. Again, thanks for the photo. Henry

Thank you so much for the fast response to my request. The tombstone is beautiful. I was wondering if you would add the photo to the memorial of Barbara that I added this morning. She passed away on Monday and funeral is going to be Sat. at Piney Ridge and buried beside her husband. Thanks you so much. Henry
|larry eanes||Hattie Smiley Davis|
Hi Joan, thanks for taking the pic of Hattie, she is in a Smiley family group that I had been working on. Floral Gardens is one that I won't do any of because all are foot stones and that is pure hell on an old mans back. One day I hope to run into you, just to say hello and to see who else is possessed as I am, lol. Take care and thanks again, Larry

I was just in Greenhill taking pictures and the sun was right for certain stones. I added a picture to your site for Minnie. If you object to pictures being added to your sites, let me know. No problem for me.
|Elizabeth Hurd||Hi my apologizes for my error|
My apologizes for error in last name spellings. I was not able to edit my post on your wall.
I took a look at the last name again and came to realize that I had spelt their names wrong. Opps!
it is really McAlpin; not McPlain. let me know if you need their memorial numbers?
Thank you for take your time.
|Elizabeth Hurd||hi request to transfer|
