Feel free to use any photos that I have taken. If you want to note my name and give me credit, it is very much appreciated.|
My current project is Woodland Cemetery in Las Vegas. Big thanks to Miracle Mile Tim for recommending this project. With in excess of 24,000 burial plots, Woodlawn may take 2-3 years to complete all memorials with obituaries and genealogical data. It appears that approximately 1,000 gravesites may be unidentified (have no markers). Further investigation has shown that numerous listed Woodland burials are at either Bunker Eden Vale or Palm Desert nearby.
Also photographed all markers in Bunker Eden Vale to determine proper burial location. Have entered approx. 97% of those burials.
Continuing to research the 1,000+ older memorials entered that have no gravestones. Once Eden Vale and Palm Desert are done then will focus back on remaining Woodlawn.
Thanks for all the assistance and additional information folks have been providing.

when I was 15 years old my uncle left because of some family trouble, he went back out to Las Vegas and that is where he died. I got one card from him. we did not know where he was buried or if he had a grave marker. Because of your work I was able to find the answers, and to see his burial place. Thank you so much, God Bless

Hi, thanks for all your work.
Herschel Clarence Higgins is not buried next to his first wife, Gladys Odessa Pirkle Higgins at Bunkers Eden Vale in Clark County, Nevada.
Herschel C. Higgins is buried next to his second wife, Esther Mae Higgins in Rest Haven Memorial Park, Russellville, Pope County, Arkansas. He died in 2005. His name is on both gravestones but his remains are buried there in Arkansas.
I don't know how to blend the two memorials that have been posted for Herschel C. Higgins in two different states.

I try to stay out of the sun so Section 19 is perfect.
I still need to get inside the locked building but will wait to finish up all the outside. My next project is to document 19a which is under a lot of mud right now. Will have to bring a bucket and whisk broom to clean up the headstones.
I find it so surprising how many memorials I come across that aren't in the database, especially older ones. I also find it surprising how many memorials created on the database have completely incorrect birth and death dates.
I was going through your Braucher family. COuld you please email me as I have questions?
Thank you, Beth

Hi Jeff, I really appreciate all you do :)
My name is Marissa Bingham, I am requesting a transfer of Ronald Glen Bingham Memorial # 126839886 & Robert Edwin Bingham Memorial # 126840089 to me from you. They are my twin big brothers. Please let me know, thank you so very much. Bless you :)
Thank you so very much for getting the pics of Robert & Gladys Dula, bless you.
Was at Fort Howard Memorial Park today. Found a KAZMAIER headstone but did not locate the given name Emil yet. With snow on the ground there might be a footstone near the marker. I'll try in the Spring. Names on the stone: Son - Kenneth 1944; Mother - Irene 1902 - 1967.
Note: On the back of the marker is the surname RYBA. Names on the stone: Leona A. 1938; Leonard J. 1933 - 2011; Married 23Aug1958.
