I believe some people are reading way too much into Find A Grave rules. Transfers are mandatory by the rules - if you are directly related (to a certain degree).
If you are not related closely, it is not mandatory... BUT - there is not rule stating I can not transfer memorials to someone who desire's a friend or distant relatives memorial.

I do have some memorials that are not connected to my Family research. If you see a memorial that is from your family (or friends), let me know. If the memorial is not part of my family search - I will be happy to transfer it to you regardless of your relationship.

You can catch me quicker by e-mail.

RE: William Bridges (1838-1906)
We are not related but I believe our ancestors served in the same Civil War company. Do you have any information on that? I have both serving in Company C of the 10th Regiment of NC Artillery.

re: Joe Bridges photo request
I was trying to fulfil a tombstone photo request you had asked for in April 2014 for Joe Bridges at Mt Olive Church Cemetery in Spartanburg SC. I looked through the stones & didnít see it, but some stones weren't very readable. I have left a message with the church to ask for internment records & hopefully- thatíll help me find it. I also learned a trick since then, to help the inscription show up better if itís worn. Just wanted to let you know I am working on it.

Have a blessed day!

Joseph Carson
I completed your photo request for Joseph Carson. Next to him is his wife Jean B. Carson. There was no memorial for Jean, so I created one and transferred it to you.

RE: Pumphrey
You're welcome. I just happened to be uploading more pictures to memorials this morning and came across a couple others that you managed that I added photo's to. Jimmie & Callie Bridges. Take a look (not sure if they are family).

RE: Percy
I appoligize for the quality, but I took 10 photos with ZOOM... The plaque is on the TOP row some 12' above the floor, so could not get any closer without a ladder.... I did the best I could.
