|I've been working on my Family history since I was 11 years old. I started this because of a homework assignment and became hooked when Grandpa explained that he was Grandma's third husband. I had no idea! |
I've used this site for a long time, gleaning little tidbits of information that I needed. Then it occurred to me that I may have information that someone else needs so I should give back. I signed up as a member and I've been adding my little tidbits as I find them. I hope it helps someone.
UPDATES ON MY PROJECTS!
I have photo documented the Stafford Memorial Gardens up through last summer (2012) so now we just need to keep up with the new additions. But there are hundreds of unmarked graves in that cemetery.
I have taken all photos for the AMAA Cemetery in Brooke, Stafford/Fredericksburg, VA. All names and photos have been entered as of June 2013.
I have completed the photos for Rodef Shalom Cemetery in Cardiff, NJ. I will be entering those as I can. There are over 4000 photos so it may take me most of the winter to get them all entered!
I have taken photos of about 1/3 of the Beth Kehillah Cemetery in Cardiff, NJ. I have completed adding the photos that I have until my next trip. (Except for the ones that need translating from Hebrew to English.)
Also, if I claim a photo request for an area not local to me don't panic. It means that I was there and already have the picture and I will upload it once I return home from my travels. Along those lines - when I am traveling I may let you know that I have claimed one of your photo requests. If you will go ahead and request the rest of your family in that cemetery it helps because if I am running out of time, memory space in my camera, or battery I will try to concentrate on requests that have been made. :)

Thank you for their transfers. Sure appreciate it.

I was wondering if you might have noticed a Homer Augustus Post (1876-1918) while you at the Brookside Cemetery in Shortsville, NY. His parents were Fred H. Post (1851-?) and Eunice A. Bliss Post (1853-1927). Thanks

You certainly are "easy to get along with". LOL No sorry's needed. It's just that F.A.G. has suggested that as we get older (I'm passed the getting - I've reached old) we entrust our memorials to others. I try not to ask for any transfer except in cases where the creator hasn't the time or effort to update information.
You are great. As I've stated before you have gone beyond where some wouldn't. Keep up your wonderful work and your head held high and your fingers on the correct keys! tee hee.

Thank you for locating my Mother's grave. She died whine I was three. I just recently found it after an extensive search. Visited it last year....
|Margaret C Cowles||RE: Enoch Massecar|
YES!! Now I'm also certain that the Ada in that cemetery is his wife Ada.
Oh, if only half of the "gravers" were as "above & beyond" the type you are...I'd be in 7th heaven!
Folks, believeme, Carol's your go to lady...remember the old cheer "Carol, Carol she's our (man), if she can't do it no one can"?
|Margaret C Cowles||RE: Enos/Enoch Massecar|
You're pal for going that route for a "never met before" lady like me.
Thanks so much for the help. There are many more like us than the other kind of "gravers". You know the kind, "it's my memorial, I'll do what I want" and "so, they're your family, it's my memorial" and "don't tell me what to add" and the final touch = "I'm not deleting mine (duplicate) tell the other one to ...."
Again & again, Thanks so much for you time & help.

Thank you, Carol! Your work is so much appreciated. I will continue checking for their headstone periodically.
Thank you again for all you do! I'm in Vancouver,BC so it's not very often when I get back to NJ.
|Nina Kramer||Bernard and Sabra Kramer Headstone|
I thank you for doing the work you do. Thanks to you, I was able to gather photos of my grandparents and great aunt and uncle.
I have a request. Not very far from my grandparents are my beloved parents' headstone. Their names are Bernard and Sabra E. Kramer (one headstone for both). They are in the vicinity of Harry Kale and if I can describe the location, they are buried a couple of aisles west of Harry Kale.
I realize you are extremely busy with all the good work you do but I'm hoping that you may be able to get a photo of their headstone. I've been working on my family tree and I no longer live in the Atlantic City area, I would be so grateful for you doing this.
My email address is: email@example.com
Thank you so much,

I would like to no if you can help me find my grandmoms obituary I have been looking for a long time and can not find it
Thanks for the correction on Isadore and Katie Chaikin. Family verbal history is that their burial is in a special section of the cemetery set aside for members of the Workman's Circle. Do you have any information about this? Sarah
