As long as we remember our ancestors in our hearts, they are always with us.....|
Even though they are in a different place, they are still a part of our lives, let us not forget the ones who have gone before us.

New Hoy Family Member: I would Love for you to Visit my new memorial for John "Doc" Hoy and leave a floral tribute. I found his very sad story in an Omaha Newspaper from April 1899. I have no idea what Hoy family he actually belongs to, but have adopted him to mine, nevertheless.

|Mae||RE: Florence Almina Fahlke Teten|
According to records that I received from a family researcher, Florence Almina Fohlke Gerdes daughter of Hoppe Thomas Gerdes and Luchea Malpert, who married Brunie Okie Teten on Jan 2, 1925, was born Jan 2 1899 and died Mar 8, 1967. I'm certain this has to be the same person. Please link.
Thanks much. I appreciate your conscientiousness.
Have a great day!
Florence Almina Fahlke Teten
You have sent me an edit to link Florence with her parents, Hoppe Thomas & Luckea (Malpert) Gerdes. Are you certain that this info is correct?
I created her memorial from a partial cemetery list we have, which I used for my transcription. I double checked this list and her name is listed as "Florence Almina "Fahlke" Teten. I thought this was her maiden name????

|Julie Blichmann||RE: Royer|
You're most welcome! I did send a message to the two others that have the Royer memorials at Effingham, and submitted additional info on Anna Belle.

Thanks for visiting their memorials Kathy : ) Yes it is quite a small Cemetery but there are many more than 110 graves there. It seems like whoever listed them focused mainly on the war graves.
My Dad,siblings, aunts and uncles rest there. I'm sorry for your losses Kathy. It worked the opposite way with me. Because I'm so familiar with death, I fear it.
Ah yes, my name!..thanks for the compliment :) My Godfather named me.
Did you see the interview ''Princess Diana: Panorama'' VERY deep and powerful interview. I actually had my first child on Diana's wedding day. I watched the wedding sitting in the TV room in hospital. She was the best thing to ever happen to the Royal Family. God Rest her Soul.
|Diana Somewhere Over The Rainbow||RE: Re: Question...|
Yes Kathy, you can search ''New listings'' although I very rarely do that as I much prefer to take a stroll through the Cemetery. It's ironic Kathy, as I have a very severe fear of illness and death, but yet, I find a sense of peace while strolling through.
I've seen many memorials that were listed some years ago with not a single flower.
There are actually two quite famous people listed from my Village, Kathy,. One being ''Mark Jones'' who died in the Munich air disaster on February the 6th 1958. I don't know if you know of any English Football teams? but Mark Jones played for ''Manchester United''. He is buried in my local Cemetery. Also ''Roy Kilner'' who was an English professional Cricketer also buried in my local Cemetery.
Would you be so kind as to leave them a small tribute? as they too, seem to have gone fairly unnoticed.
|Diana Somewhere Over The Rainbow||RE: Question for you.... :)|
Hiya again Kathy : ) I found John after visiting the St John's Lutheran Cemetery to leave flowers for the Grandfather of a friend. I also left them for a James P Hoy?
I always take notice of who cares for the Memorials, and in James's case, It was you : ) So I looked at your profile and read your story of John.
|Diana Somewhere Over The Rainbow||RE: John|
It was a pleasure Kathy. Blessings to you and yours from Barnsley, England : )

Thank you for permission to use your photos - I appreciate it! Also, I noticed on your website that you state Carrie and her husband William had one child, Edith Kay. I believe they had two other children according to census records - Florence Snyder and Chester Muxworthy. Thanks again, Caron
