I lost my grandson on January 4, 2010. Dillon Giles Darst was fourteen and a half years old when he died. His family misses him so much. Thanks to everyone for the tokens and wonderful, comforting words. Dillon is buried in the Mt. Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Lebanon, Mo.
On May 19, 2013, I lost my sister Juanita Mae Sloan Lowrance . She had done a lot of work on Findagrave by adding over 36,000 memorials, etc. She helped numerous people in the many years that she was a graver. Any flowers would be greatly appreciated.....thanks.
My sister, Juanita Mae, was my best friend in the whole wide world. I am lost without her in my life. She added 36,453 memorials on FAG and helped so many people in their research of finding loved ones and friends. She was really good at it.
She loved her daughter and five sons so much. And all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She and her husband got a divorce and he married someone else after her giving him six children. She never did remarry.
Transfer of a FindAGrave Memorial Sorry to see that your sister, Wanda, has passed away. Wanda had sponsered a memorial for my nephew, Jeffrey Blayne Johnson, #16603456, which I would love to have transferred to me. Do you know if there is anyone I can contact to have that done. Thank you.
Holiday Blessings! Barbara, Sending warm wishes for the holiday season from our house to yours. May you have a Happy Christmas and a Healthy New Year. Thank you for remembering my family members with such delightful tokens and kind words. Mary Richards
RE: Juanita Lowrance's memorial I had a bad day when I realized by dear Find a grave friend had passed. She was my age and for years we had worked together on so many posts. She was always kind, gracious and my goodness did so much good work. I wish I had realized she was ill when she was. Anyway you are fortunate indeed to have had such a wonderful sister. Thanks for contacting me.
You are more than welcome, but you never have to say thank-you. Those words came from my heart. I meant what I said, as long as they live in the hearts of those who love them and their friends. They NEVER DIE! They are always here beside us. You are a precious lady and I felt that when I seen the picture of you two. I wish I had, had a sister to share things with. You take good care my friend. Always know I am here for you.
Juanita Sloan Lowrance Hi Barbara, I sent an edit for a listing of Juanita's and then realized she had passed away. Are you in charge of her listings now to do the updates or do you know how to get them done? Please advise. Thank you Nancy Brewer
Elizabeth Sloan I was at the grave stone of Elizabeth a couple of weeks ago. I took some much better photos of it and noticed that you left a note saying that you really wish you could read the dates and info. The pics that I put up are pretty good and you will have no problem reading the info that you want. Its crazy how and why people take such bad pics and put them on here. Its all about recording info and getting good pics I think. Anyway, glad that I could help.
RE: Transferring a memorial Barbara, Transfer is complete. Your sister and I were attempting to see if Mary Ann was related to the Hayes in my family; Mary Ann had married into the Hayes family. Your sister transferred Mary Ann's memorial for me to find more information and then transfer the memorial back. She passed before I could do that, so I've gladly transferred Mary Ann back to you.
