Bio Photo If I have helped you with a photo or such..then you are welcome! All I ask is that you return a random act of kindness to someone in need.

I enjoy helping people, photography and genealogy so visiting nearby cemeteries to provide photos is a natural fit and my pleasure.... besides it gives me some needed exercise!

If you see a memorial I created that you want to manage please email me and I will gladly transfer it to you. Please include your Contributor ID# that appears beside your name in your profile.

If you want to use any of the photos that I have taken and posted feel free to do so...just drop me a line, I may also have a different view of the photo.

I have copies of the old Philos Cemetery burial books and maps and also I have access to St James' Episcopal Church records here in Westernport.

Information for many of the Fazenbaker memorials is from the book " The Fazenbaker Family of Western Maryland" by Walter L. Warnick 1991.

I reside in Westernport, Allegany Co, Maryland

I have permission of the Piedmont Herald Newspaper to use their printed obituaries. The Herald is closed and no longer in business.

Edward F. Harvey Mem #130064917
After researching this individual for a friend, I believe that the incorrect spouse is indicated for his wife. Edward's wife was Ina Mae Davis Harvey and she is listed under Mem #114550735.

Mary Geneva Wilson Harvey is wife to a Truman Harvey,

Ina Mae Davis Harvey was born 4/6/1897 and died 4/22/1960

1920 and 1930 Censuses for Kitzmiller and Ryans Glade, respectively, in Garrett County, MD indicate the family od Edward and Ina with three children Edward K. Harvey, Geraldine Harvey Ryan, and Darl Milroy Harvey prove this out - Per Edward's obituary. Mary Geneva Wilson Harvey's Obituary has a whole new family listed - none of which match Edward's

Thank you for being a member of Find A Grave contributors. This is such a great job for us genealogy buffs.
Joan A. Akers (not a family member to the Harvey's) just a friend doing a genealogy report for a friend's father.

RE: Walter Wright Biggs
Hi John, Thanks for the confirmation and yes, I would love to have a copy of the obit. Thanks for all your work on the Biggs family, through you I have learned a lot about my relatives beyond my grandfather, Charles Shannon. Thanks again, Jean

Hello John,

Hope this finds you well, I apologize for not getting back to you sooner but have been really busy with the Easter Holidays, and traveling.

Thank you so much for your quick response, and for the three obituaries for James Clyde Harvey. Your efforts and willingness to help is greatly appreciated. I have updated the memorial with the obituary, and credited you for the information. Please extend my thanks to your friend who assisted in obtaining the obituaries as well. Have a happy and blessed Easter.

Best Regards
Anita

Walter Wright Biggs
John: According to your gravestone for Walter at Philos, you have his death date as Oct 10, 1918 but the gravestone says death on Oct. 1st, we haven't been in touch for awhile but I am a Biggs, and have a site on Ancestry so I am just checking for the right date as I was unable to find any other proof other than the stone. Thanks for your help. Jean (Bowjean)

RE: David D. Broadwater
John I don't know which is correct this is the response I got from the other person regarding his duplicate.
"In Jan. 2013 when I decided to put my ancestor on Find A Grave. I noticed the cemetery had three names, New Germany, Trinity and Twin Churches, Mount Beulah was not on Find A Grave until Aug of 2013. To determine which name to use I made a survey of the obituaries in the local newspapers of the people in the cemetery, of the 231 people in the cemetery I found 88 obituaries, 83 stated burial in the New Germany Cemetery, 5 stated Mount Beulah Cemetery and Trinity is a separate cemetery. I decided to use New Germany because most of the families of the people in the cemetery had used it."

So maybe we need to contact Find A Grave and combine the cemeteries...I am waiting on response back from him...
