Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Hildur Panula-Heinonen and I am a marine historian and genealogist living in Truro, Nova Scotia.

I have spent many years trying to uncover the names and faces of those lost in major disasters. As i have lost a family in the sinking of the Titanic, i feel compelled to ensure all victims have a name.I also spent a lot of time transcribing local cemeteries for genealogical purposes.
I focus my studies on shipping disasters, and if anyone is interested in discussing shipping disasters (to whom you will find on my page) i would be delighted.

Regarding memorials i have created: If a memorial has been created for one of your family members, ask and i will transfer it over to you.

Edna (Dartt) Kennedy
Hi Hildur,
Do you have a picture of Edna (Dartt)Kennedy and her husband Elmer's headstone? They're buried in Terrance Hill Cemetery in Truro.

I didn't know you were Jewish. I knew you were Finnish. I just add photos of the children who perished in the Holocaust. Even though I am a Christian doesn't change how I felt when the Jewish people suffered and how the Nazis treated them. Just because I'm a Christian doesn't mean I would agree with that scum Nazi leader.

RE: Norge 1904
I am doing my own disasters actually. Like the children who perished in Auschwitz. I am actually interested in World war 2 than just shipwrecks. So the tribute I did on youtube of the children who perished in Auschwitz in 1942-1944. Which I knew the children from the various shipwrecks were not compared to the children who perished in Auschwitz. I know the children from the shipwrecks just perished from accident causes *except Lusitania who became a target for war*. But the children of Auschwitz perished from cruelty of mankind.

Andrew Mouck (1808-1858)
I was wondering if you could explain our relationship to Andrew Mouck? I know he is buried with other Moucks but just can't seem to connect him. I was wondering if perhaps he was a son of Lewis Mouck and Mary Collier?

Jacob Mouck
I meant to add I do have a photo of the stone belonging to Jacob Mouck and his son Elmer that was mailed to me by C. Gorden on that you can view if you would like. :) However, I did not want to include it on here since I did not take it myself. I also wanted to add that the photo of Ida Storring Mouck and Jacob Mouck that you have posted was originally provided by the Rudd family and should be noted. Thank you

Jacob Mouck
I received your message about linking Clarence as a son.....Also, the son born to Jacob and Ida was Elmer H. Mouck not Elmore per his grave stone. You also have his middle name as Henry and I was curious where you obtained that information? Also, you mention that Elmer was their first born child and I was wondering where you received that information? Ida was also married a second time in the county of Oswego where she and he (Christopher Snyder) are buried. I have confirmed her burial but she does not have a stone.
