Genealogy is one of my hobbies, the others being Jane Austen, movies, website design, and my job.|
And, of course, I love visiting cemeteries and photographing headstones for people. There are some cool, out-of-the-way country cemeteries here in Mississippi, so it's sort of a road trip and a scavenger hunt rolled into one, and you can't beat the feeling of helping people!
If you are the friend or relative of anyone on a record I've added, I will be glad to transfer the admin/ownership over to you, so just let me know. I'm not here for the numbers.
Feel free to use any photo I've uploaded to this site for your family tree on Ancestry or wherever. You don't have to ask. Credit would be nice, but it's not like I'm going to go looking.
The link on my profile will take you to the genealogy site I maintain for my family.
In memory of my sister, Emma Louise Baldwin King (1988-2011), and my dad, Robert Barton Baldwin (1948-2015).

DeeDee, I appreciate you taking the time to take this photo for me. I have been waiting for a good while. Is there any chance you could read the headstone? I have not been able to get an exact death date for Penelope. I know she died between 1847 and Oct 1852. Any help is appreciated. Connie

Thank you so much for taking the time to photo the stones and add them to the memorials. I am in NC and am unable to travel back to Mississippi. Susan

I'm afraid there has been a mistake: I just wanted additional info added to Grover Cleveland Smith's Find A Grave site. Sorry, but I have no idea how to maintain the site. If additional info cannot be added, please just keep site.
Sorry for the confusion.

Hi DeeDee, Would you mind making 2 additions to my grandfather Grover C. Smith's grave site information:
1. His parents were Jim Smith and Mary "Molly" King.
2. The rest of his children were:
Leo Belton Smith (1912-1998)
Infant Smith (1914-1914)
Lola Blanch Smith (1918- )
Grover Cleveland Smith, Jr. (1921-2003)
Thanks so much!
Sylvia Smith (Middleman)

Im sorry, I noticed I left the Y out of it. But, yeah, that's awesome!! Thank you. Okay, i wasn't looking for anything in particular or too big, just due to i know a lot of my family that lives there have gone there on Mother's Day and placed a lot and they sent my mom pictures. We just hate we could never get down there to do anything and its been over 7 years since we've been gone from Mississippi period. Not sure if you have a PayPal account or is there another way I could transfer the money to you?

I noticed you posted the headstone etc for her. She is my grandmother and I currently live in Wisconsin. I haven't seen her since i was 6 and i didn't realize my family buried her so far away after her funeral in Wisconsin. I was wondering if i am able to get ownership of the memorial page for her and possibly e-pay for some flowers to be placed on her plot.. SOme of my cousins etc have done it for my mom and I but until i make a trip there, i'd like to try to pay via web to get some placed for my mom and i.
is my contact email
